Kaine also exposed Trump for the terrible person he is, and has forced Pence to evade questions or lie effucively. Those who have already decided are not going to be persuaded otherwise.
I’m listening to the post-debate commentary. I note that substance seems to have little weight in debates. Pence is being declared the winner because of his stage presence. Kaine is being criticized for his aggressiveness. I also note that aggressiveness is usually seen as a positive — when it’s the GOP candidate being aggressive.
I’ll admit that I thought Kaine shouldn’t have interrupted as much as he did. Having said that, I think that Kaine highlighted the fact that Pence did little to defend Trump while Kaine defended Clinton throughout.
