The thing is, this ramshackle campaign, following a ramshackle business career, has exposed his flaws and failures to the world and, more importantly, to the people he will brush up against for the rest of his life. To them he is now officially a joke. I suspect he knows this. And if his thin skin on minor matters is any indication, he will be lashing out with even more vitriol. He is a mad jumble of a man, with a slapdash of a campaign and talking points dredged from the dark corners at the bottom of the Internet. I don’t think he will get to the White House, but just the fact that his carny act has gotten so far along the road will leave the path with a permanent orange stain. Trump, more than even the most craven politicians or entertainers, is a bottomless reservoir of need and desire for attention. He lives off crowd approval. And at a certain point that will dim, as it always does to people like him, and the cameras will turn to some other American novelty. When that attention wanes, he will be left with his press clippings, his dyed hair, his fake tan, and those tiny, tiny fingers.
I hope he is right that he won’t make it to the Whitehouse but hope we recover from the damage Trump has already caused.

I wish the Clinton campaign would sideline Bill and put Michelle Obama in all of his events!
That’s why it’s so important that you make your voice heard. Call your representative. Tweet your Senator. Tell them what matters to you. And in November go vote. Then do it again in the next election, even when the presidency isn’t at stake. Send a clear message that Congress, at the very least, needs to perform its basic, Constitutional responsibilities – and should do much more.
We didn’t grow from a fledgling nation into the greatest force for good the world has ever known by flouting the institutions that define our democracy. We did it through fidelity to the values of our founding, and an understanding that our American experiment only works when we the people have a say. So do your part, and demand your representatives do theirs. That’s how we’ll carry forward the work of perfecting our Union.

I am so glad that this came out. Because I heard all of what Bill Clinton said and to me it was not a negative slam on ACA, but a suggestion on how to help the middle class afford the premiums.

As am I, Judith. I think he is underestimated because of his somewhat laid back demeanor. He’s got the knowledge, the common sense, the empathy, and temperament. But he can be tough when there is a need and he seems to have no problem being HRC’s bulldog.
The quote was technically accurate, but CNN decided to leave some vital information out, like what Bill Clinton said before their quote:
Clinton wasn’t saying that Obamacare is crazy, or bad. He was arguing for an expansion of the ACA and allowing people to buy into Medicare and Medicaid. Clinton was talking about expanding the system in a way that would not harm the ACA.
CNN simply took a quote, left out all of the context, and ran with it.

Have we ever been so protective of a First Family? They are one of a kind and this presidency is one as well in the best sense of the term. We have been so blessed to be present and aware to witness this time in history.

OMG, I just saw my first Trump TV ad here. IN SAN FRANCISCO. LOLz!!!!
My mom lives in Santa Rosa, told me today that her friends hate Trump… but don’t trust Hillary. I had to remind her (of her own life) what it was like to be a woman in the workforce.. climbing the ladder and all the hoohaw she had aimed at her.. so she told me the story of when she became payroll manager- equal to the other male excutives (my mom was the first female exec in this company- in San Francisco actually) another male executive referred to her as a “Junior Executive”. So just reminding her of her own past, brought into perspective a bit clearer the hurdles that have been placed before Hillary, especially the lies designed to cause mistrust.
Hopefully she’ll remind her friends now that “trusting” Hillary is mostly manufactured BS put out by the bigots.
Good job, sherijr. It’s events like this – each of us speaking to hesitant voters about the context and what’s at stake – that I believe will make a difference.

From what I’m reading in the guardian – He is full of RW talking points – which are being pointed out as lies. Wonder if any other media will have the same take?
You can tell by the head shaking and squirming that Pence has been coached. When you’ve been coached because “you got nothing,” it eventually peels away over the course of the debate.
While Pence speaks and I mute him, I’m imagining that he just finally has it, rips off the mic, curses Trump, and runs out – yelling to his wife, “Honey, meet me in the limo!”
