Congrats on 1st wpw.
Thanks Nerdy for the round up. one of the headlines on the msn internet was the problem with bungled people in Laos supposedly disrespecting our POTUS. SO much BS. They have never had an American President visit their country.
Good Day to everyone.
Loved this article, AMK. The 2008 and 2012 Obama campaigns were the most tightly organized and data driven operations I had ever witnessed, but what I’m seeing this year surpasses even that. The Clinton campaign does not put ANY organizer on the ground who isn’t meticulously trained, data focused and driven.
And arrogance, AMK. If more Americans traveled abroad, they would start to question the things they think are so ‘great’ about much in the US. Just seeing the advanced infrastructure in some parts of the world would be an eyeopener.
You all agree with Mark Twain. His famous saying is “Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness.” Americans even have this kind of bigotry towards other sections of our own country. People need to get out more. I was very fortunate. My parents believed in traveling, and every summer we took a road trip somewhere. I got to see our great country and meet people from all over. That was one of the most valuable things my parents did. When I got older, I started traveling outside the country. My world was enlarged much more. The world is not scary when you actually ARE in another place from home.
😀 Looking great, PBO! Meanwhile, I have to make do with the 6 litres of coconut water I bought at Costco for $18. I console myself with the fact I don’t have to contend with the coconut husk. 😉 🙂
Seriously:) It’s raining here right this moment. I did think of CA this morning…..wish it would come to you. We’ve had enough. Morning, GGail:) Are you back from GA?
Good West Coast morning TOD family. I’m back in Cali. I had a wonderful time with my family in Georgia.
It was so good to be able to open TOD and see all that PBO is doing. NW, you rock!
Your excuse note:
Dear Boss person,
GGail could not come to work today because we need her smiling face and sassy humor here at TOD for a few days, to help offset the dreary doldrums created by the orange headed monster. Thanks for understanding. 🙂 🙂 🙂
Waving Hi back. I thought it would bring a smile to your face, which I figured you would need after seeing how many emails were in your inbox, not to mention all the other stuff that piles up. I always wonder if it is actually worth it to take a vacation, considering how hard I have to work once I get back to get caught up on everything. But I guess spending time with family makes it all worth it.
There’s no doubt that Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) has been a longtime advocate for revamping the nation’s immigration laws and border security system. But his newly-published Spanish-language campaign website selectively highlights just part of his legislative record – while his English-language site emphasizes other parts.
The Spanish language site, for instance, lauds him as a member of the Gang of Eight that sought comprehensive immigration reform, and a supporter of a pathway to citizenship for the children of immigrants who came to the country illegally – a group known as the “Dreamers.” The English-language site makes no mention of either and portrays the senator as a champion of tougher border security.
I’m curious to know if McCain’s campaign aides thought no one would notice.
TIM KAINE NATIONAL SECURITY ADDRESS IN WILMINGTON, NC (September 6, 2016)
Vice Presidential candidate Senator Tim Kaine (D-VA) delivered a national security address in Wilmington, North Carolina. He contrasted the foreign policy views of presidential candidates Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump speaking on a range of issues including the Middle East, combating ISIS, Russia and immigration. In addition, Senator Kaine harshly criticized Mr. Trump saying the U.S. would be far less safe under his leadership, and that Mr. Trump’s disrespect for the military “absolutely infuriates” him as a military father.
This is such a terrific speech. Tim does not mince words. I hope everyone gets to watch or listen. It’s a great prelude to the Commander-In-chief event tonight.
NPR commentator interviewed a retired Admiral, one of the 89 military leaders who signed a letter in support for Donald Trump this morning. The questions asked by the interviewer seemed legitimate and the answers said a lot. The Admiral seemed to think Clinton’s time as SOS delegitimized her for running for the Presidency based on her using the server and the so called email scandal. He felt Donald could surround himself with knowledgeable people and seemed to like Trump’s immigrant stance. He even seemed to okay water boarding, but admitted Trump would need to follow the law. After listening to the Admiral I wondered who these people were that endorsed Trump? I hope they do not give Trump gravitas in the CIC category. It seems so unlikely he could compete in that area with Hillary. I am not happy even considering any possibility of Trump getting into the WH, even for a visit!
I listened to the tail end of the ret. Admiral for Trump. He indicated that water boarding for national security reasons was fine until he was asked if our soldiers were caught and water boarded he immediately said that was against the Geneva Convention rules then said the same for the USA….he seemed to be talking out of both sides of his mouth. If these are the type of people DT will be listening to no wonder we never “win” anything.

Read it.
Really excellent article. Thanks amk.
I loved reading it. Nothing beats smarts.

Love a brainy political campaign.
yes indeed
Good catch, AMK!
Wow. If all true, then Victory is more than possible on Nov 8th, 2016.
Thanks, Amk
That alone deserves the Nobel Prize!
And NO thanks to Congressional Republicans who have done everything in their power to oppose helping poor children, out of political malice.
missing the effing timeline.
I like the fact that the baby is reaching his hand out to PBO 😊
The Dallas Morning News is the most influential paper in the Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas area. For us, it is the “paper of record.” This is BIG!
Good morning, TODville. Much appreciation to our Nerdy W.
Our POTUS always dives right in:
And he’s all about honor and respect:
travel cures the disease of ignorance.
Perfectly said, amk.
And arrogance, AMK. If more Americans traveled abroad, they would start to question the things they think are so ‘great’ about much in the US. Just seeing the advanced infrastructure in some parts of the world would be an eyeopener.

What a stunning photo! I would love to see temples like this.
This is our everyday staple food. The safest drinking water evah.
Straight to the source!
Agreed. I have missed that so much. It can’t be replicated in a can, which you see sometimes on the market here.
I LOVE THIS PICTURE….AM SURE THIS MADE HIM THINK OF HIS CHILDHOOD SPENT IN SO MANY AMAZING PLACES!
😀 Looking great, PBO! Meanwhile, I have to make do with the 6 litres of coconut water I bought at Costco for $18. I console myself with the fact I don’t have to contend with the coconut husk. 😉 🙂
Morning everyone! Happy Wednesday. How many days will President Obama be in Laos?
Morning DF, can you turn on a couple of huge fans so some rain from Hurricane Newton will come my way in California? 😘
Seriously:) It’s raining here right this moment. I did think of CA this morning…..wish it would come to you. We’ve had enough. Morning, GGail:) Are you back from GA?
Just saw your post… never mind:) Glad you had a good time!
Yup, in fact I’m getting ready to go to work 😞
It’s so frustrating that it’s raining all around us and we get nothing!!!
Morning GGail so glad to see you back on TOD. Looking forward to hearing about your trip back home to see the relatives.
Morning jojo 🙂
This is the first moment I’ve had since arriving to work this morning at 7:30am
Afternoon GGail. If today is your first day back, I know it must be tough but at least it’s a short week. Today is already hump-day 🙂
He deals with only the “best” people…
And yet…people in Florida keep electing Republicans. When are they going to wake up and stop being exploited by those they elect?
Nope, this one is all on all the mopes, racists and nutsos that elected and reelected the corruptest thugs to rule over them.
I detest them
Why is it, Df, that Republicans seem to take a ghoulish delight in watching people suffer and die? That’s a rhetorical question, by the way.
Bet they pulled the wings off flying creatures, too. And smiled.
I love my POTUS.
He’s all about it!!
Good West Coast morning TOD family. I’m back in Cali. I had a wonderful time with my family in Georgia.
It was so good to be able to open TOD and see all that PBO is doing. NW, you rock!
GAIL, glad you had a wonderful visit and made it back home safely. Now it is time to relax. 🙂
Good morning Roberta. I’m on my way to work this morning. Can you write me an excuse so I can stay home? 😊
Your excuse note:

Guess the proles yelling and gnashing their teeth had some small effect.
Let’s see if they can keep it up, or this was a “one and done”
I CANNOT STOMACH THE MEDIA AND I CERTAINLY DON’T LIKE THEM FOLLOWING MALIA AROUND!
I am so anxious to see what he and POTUS will be doing. They are going to be a huge impact going forward.
You should just read his entire TL..
