I really did. Didn’t go in with a lot of expectations, but I wound up loving it. People who had seen it all said the same thing – it’s too short. And, I have to agree with that. Yet…that’s what makes it good.
This wasn’t about the totality of the First Couple’s relationship. It was their first date. And, that’s all it was.
Yet, it was so much more. It was beautiful, romantic, without being sappy or mushy. These aren’t two people who fell in love like in the fairy tales. They had to get to know one another.
I think part of the love was that the movie seemed like a love letter to the South Side of Chicago. Outside of one place where they went to talk, it all took place on the South Side of Chicago. I took that to heart.
The actors did very good job, and if you can, get out and see it.

This stance that he took has brought so much vitriol his way. Even his own biological mother is fixing her fingers to type over Twitter to her son that he shouldn’t have done what he did. When he was 22 years old, Winrow was arrested in his mother’s home in Los Angeles, California, with 151.9 grams of crack cocaine, a scale, a gun and $3,209 (£2,444) in cash.
