    These lawless police officers are disgusting. If they hate dealing with the public quit. Nobody is forcing them to stay on the job. I’m really getting tired of this. Look at the way he’s holding up the young lady. So damn disrespectful. I guess we have to be happy he didn’t pull his gun and shoot her. SMH.

  3. August 16, 2016 at 5:24 pm

    How old is that child that police officer has jack up like that? He would have never did a white child like that. What is it she suppose to have done?

      According to the news story I saw, she is 32 and the police thought she was a prostitute. I hope they’re fired for their misconduct.

      So if they’re declining to answer, they’re pretty much answering in the negative. They must think we’re all idiots. Hope they lose in November along with Trump.

        If there’s anybody along with Trump that I want to lose in November, it’s McCain. He deserves a total upset.

    in reality, November 8th is so close.

    but if you consider the amount of political garbage which we still have to be subjected to, then election day feels far away and can’t come soon enough;

    I will need a vacation just to mentally regroup from this election circus

    NerdyWonka, this post. This post right here. These two sets of tweets. I cannot take it in. I keep coming back and looking at the top two again. I feel a strange detachment, in addition to shock, sadness, disgust, sorrow ; I just can hardly take in that this huge, musclebound, ponytailed tatooed bully of a uniformed man is HOLDING THIS TINY WOMAN UP OFF HER FEET! He is dangling her in the air; I cannot believe it but I believe it I see it and then I return to a daze. Like REALLY??? And the female officer comes up and dons gloves, and touches her, — what would this bully do in darkness and behind closed doors or in a cell, if this was his calm, confident, belligerant action to a small female human being in the noonday sun on a busy street with cars rolling by and bus pulling up. I want his actions to be seen widely. This is where we are. This sickening hostile dishonorable man has the power to carry a gun and put his hands on a woman on the street. And then, and then, another armed murderous perpetrator of violence gets a stretcher and a day in court. I cannot take this in.

    The maniac is speaking in Milwaukee. Why doesn’t he just end it with “Get into the streets!” and be done with it. He’s calling for all-out war in our neighborhoods, not to mention globally.

    How can any candidate for office vote for a person for POTUS who says” ā€œLaziness is a trait in blacks.ā€

    Kathy Szeliga is running for US senate in MD. She is voting for Trump. She is actually voting for a monster to be President of the United States who believes ‘laziness is a trait in blacks.’

    Kathy Szeliga was a TEACHER in the Baltimore City Schools. Do we wonder why there is a racial achievement gap? When the person running for US senator looks in the faces of little black children and all she sees is “LAZINESS” what can we expect?

    One third of the people in MD are black, and 99% are decent human beings because we won’t be voting for Kathy Szeliga Trump.

    VOTE VAN HOLLEN!!!!!!!!!

    squarepeg was right, this happened in DC:

    According the Daily Mail UK, DC police believed the teacher they assaulted was a prostitute — even if that is true, what compelled the policeman to treat the woman the way he did? Makes no sense to me at all.

    Also this…

    While coastal Gulf area is being savaged by (another) once-in-500-years deluge, over 80,000 have been evacuated from Wrightwood to Phelan CA (Cajon Pass on the primary thoroughfare between Los Angeles and Las Vegas).

    This fire began at around noon local time, and is now at 18,000 acres, zero percent containment. 😦

      Donald J. Trump has been a big time business man for a long time, how many African Americans have he help by hire over the many years? How many times have he been into those black communities and spoke to the people, hire people, to show any concern for black people? The fact is he hasn’t.

    So Trump stood on his own good news from last nights speech

    From NYT – and every other news outlet

    Donald J. Trump has shaken up his presidential campaign for the second time in two months, hiring a top executive from the conservative website Breitbart News and promoting a senior adviser in an effort to right his faltering campaign.

    Stephen Bannon, the executive chairman of Breitbart News LLC, will become the Republican campaign’s chief executive, and Kellyanne Conway, a senior adviser and pollster for Mr. Trump and his running mate, Gov. Mike Pence of Indiana, will become the campaign manager.

    So everyone is talking about Bannon/Breitbart! and other RWNJs and Manafort and the Russian connection – and that wonderful speech that was going to flip the campaign is gone.

    The speaker of the house is crying into his porridge and Reince Priebus may not be seen at another campaign event.

    Meanwhile – Hillary can probably cancel alot more TV advertisements. The GOP is praying for emails.

    i now see the same crap people used to convince themselves that black people and other minorities are going to vote for gop in 2012;

    how did that turn out … and this was Romney;

    have to break it up to many, we minorities are NOT that stupid or forgetful of past discrimination and will never support a person who attacks other groups because we know we are next target in these attacks;

    that is why when a significant number flocked to BS, black people never waivered;

    so bottom-line, black and other minority votes are already out of reach for this xenophobe … let him stick with his base that got him here

  47. August 17, 2016 at 8:18 am

    Yes let Trump stick with that racists base of his.

    Good morning TOD folks! Donald Trump is still the Democratic gift that keeps on giving. While I detest what he says, the sinkhole of his candidacy keeps sucking him down. Hope people get out and vote come November.

    The Real Trump Voters
    by Martin Longman
    August 15, 2016 2:00 PM

    Simon Maloy does a good job of distilling the new Gallup data on Trump voters. They aren’t exactly who most people think they are. They’re not as economically distressed or negatively impacted by the loss of manufacturing jobs as is widely assumed, and they’re often more suburban than rural. Counterintuitively, ā€œGallup found that the only candidate who is viewed consistently positively in areas with higher concentrations of manufacturing jobs is… Hillary Clinton.ā€

    http://bigstory.ap.org/article/c01989a47ee5421593ba1b301ec07813/ap-sources-manafort-tied-undisclosed-foreign-lobbying

    WASHINGTON (AP) — Donald Trump’s campaign chairman helped a pro-Russian governing party in Ukraine secretly route at least $2.2 million in payments to two prominent Washington lobbying firms in 2012, and did so in a way that effectively obscured the foreign political party’s efforts to influence U.S. policy.

    The revelation, provided to The Associated Press by people directly knowledgeable about the effort, comes at a time when Trump has faced criticism for his friendly overtures to Russian President Vladimir Putin. It also casts new light on the business practices of campaign chairman Paul Manafort.

    Under federal law, U.S. lobbyists must declare publicly if they represent foreign leaders or their political parties and provide detailed reports about their actions to the Justice Department. A violation is a felony and can result in up to five years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000.
