The fact that President Obama listens to Lil Chano From 79th, says a lot. The fact he chose ‘Acid Rain’ says a lot. If you haven’t listened to Chance The Rapper, correct that error. His lyrics are haunting yet joyful; his words, beats, and arrangements pack so much power and meaning. The way he mixes gospel with rap is mind blowing. A good primer on Chance can be read here
