Thank you, Nerdy, for ending our day with so much beauty and loveliness. What a feast for eyes and what an antidote to the ugliness of our politics!

    Also O/T.

Yesterday and today there were some comments about Paul Ryan possibly being unseated (WI GOP primary is a week from tonight).

    Apparently this is unlikely.

His challenger, Paul Nehlen, is supported by Trump and look who he’s campaigning with:

Also, Ryan appears to be popular in his CD:

This campaign is so out of control but with Trump’s mindset makes total sense. Keep in mind, until something tells him otherwise he is so narcissistic as to believe his own lies, i.e., he had the greatest convention ever.

I will say this. Clinton is incredibly lucky that this fiasco with the Kahns has taken all the oxygen out of the room. I thought she looked terrible–and as if she was lying–on her emails again in the interview with Chris Wallace on Sunday. When I got around to watching it, I literally groaned. Somehow, someone has to write something for her that makes her look honest and get her to stick to it. She keeps doing this to herself. Other than that, I thought she did pretty well but this was a disaster for her.

i’m open to this idea floating around that trump is doing this to help the clintons. he’s clearly imploding the republican party upon itself with the zaniness they’ve been quietly embracing for decades, that much is sure. and he’s been friendly with the clintons for a long time…they were at his last wedding after all…so trump knows even if hillary wins, there won’t be much damage or trouble created for his various business endeavors. trump wins either way, given the clintons history of not doing much to slow the big business takeover of everything. my god, rupert murdoch has held fundraisers for hillary in the past.

and as you point out, she’s not great off the cuff, and is stumbling through a lot of issues. i’m happy with how she has adjusted, compared to the 2008 campaign, and embraced president obama and took on many of his people, and the dem convention was fantastic, but i’m not sure i can ever get overly excited for her campaign. i already voted for her in the primary and will in the general, but she’s prone to cause some problems. if she had a more competent republican candidate right now, i’d be really worried.

No democrat should EVER agree to an interview with Fox non-news. Their goal is to make dems look terrible. Hillary would have more problems with #anyonebuttrump – however he is her opponent & she has to work that. I don’t believe anything she does is “lucky”. She has to be 4 times as good to get anywhere with the media – an 5555 times as good with Fox.

ya’ll know how I felt about HRC and on the email fiasco. However, I disagree in that she came off as lying about emails on Sunday. She did very well actually. and in the larger context of things…those emails which has been proven to not include anything that would put America at risk was not close to being described as a disaster.

Today our heroes and soul brothers, Roger Ridley and Grandpa Elliott, return for a new song around the world, “Sitting on the dock of the bay”, featured on our new PFC 2 album. I once asked Roger why with such a powerful voice like his he was singing on the streets, he replied, “I am in the joy business, I come out here to be with the people”. Roger and Grandpa have brought so much joy to the life of millions and today we are blessed to see them reunited again. We all shine on and Roger’s light is as bright as the sun

Holy crap!!! I just saw Angela Rye b**chslap the ever-living daylights out of 2 Republican dittoheads on the Don Lemon show with an assist from Bakari Sellers.
    Did anyone else see that?

Corey Lewondowski is still wondering what the hell hit him, as he tried to play Junior Birther and got his bell rung till next Tuesday.

Man, I hope someone uploads that clip to YouTube.

I think I’m definitely in love!!!!!!

It really is like a reality TV program – nothing can stop one of the participants doing stupid and outrageous things – and sooner or later the audience will vote him out.

This is what happens when one political party loses its mind but cannot bring the military on board to support a coup. .

Trump really really is thin skinned. His comment to Ryan is exactly what Ryan said about Trump. The latter will hold a grudge forever – just imagine him on the international scene!

Morning Fool hot on the conspiracy trial – rump is throwing the election to Hillary. They are sooooo sad.

  41. August 3, 2016 at 6:24 am

This election isn’t about Clinton vs. Trump, or how Democrats fare in the generic Congressional ballot. It’s between an America of love and one of hate. This is the third act of the play which began in 2008. Everything will be resolved this November.

So now that bastion of democracy – the US political media – after supporting Trump all the way to the nomination – are discussing what will happen if Trump decides not to run. The GOP and the media are both now into the big fail.

  47. 113 amk for obama

Fresh divisions are emerging within the US Republican Party over its presidential candidate Donald Trump.

Republican donor Meg Whitman has endorsed his rival Hillary Clinton, saying Mr Trump’s “demagoguery” had undermined the national fabric.

Senior party activist Jan Halper-Hayes told the BBC she thought Mr Trump was “psychologically unbalanced”.

In the latest controversy, Mr Trump has refused to support two senior figures in his own party.
