It’s impossible to express adequately my gratitude to you, NW, for all you have done to support Chips during these most difficult of times that any of us who have lost a parent know as simply horrible.

    That said, thank you!!

Yes, there is a reason why the Statue of Liberty is a Woman and not a man.

Women give birth; they conceive, carry and deliver all new life into the world and have done so since evolution advanced sufficiently to enable the emergence of a species capable of not only communicating, but recording and sustaining for future generations, the gift of persistent knowledge.

Make no mistake, the continued evolution, let alone simple preservation of our species, as well as all life on this only planet in the known universe that supports LIFE, is at stake come 8 Nov 2016.

That is not hyperbole. That is simple fact.

If you won’t VOTE because YOUR life depends on it, at least care enough to VOTE because EVERYONE ELSE’S DOES.

    Thank you.

This pic says it all: Brilliant President & Commander in Chief. This photo should be titled “He’s got this” (and also been presidenting while fine and suave and stylish as no other). I need this as a giant poster.

I want to say thank you to Nerdy and also to President Obama. The male role model for how to treat the women they love and how to respect, empower and include females. I once listened to someone close to my family tell me that President Obama did not do enough to support women. That was a leftie meme for awhile. Just one of many, right? Well I proceeded to explain in detail about why that was absolutely not true. I have watched our president show how its done, this sharing of power and influence with females. He has laid the foundation and we will be standing on his shoulders. Just as an Islamic father and mother are showing this islamaphobic society what our values truly are,and providing us with that “have you no decency” revelation, a black man has shown us how to treat, respect, and love women.

And the media says “it was meant as a joke” – if it weren’t for the disaster to the world one could wish the media would get what they created.

If we don’t “get” his jokes different cultures in the world certainly will not, for that reason alone (lack of communication skills) he is not worthy of being our President. We do know it runs much deeper than that and fits the pathological liar symptoms as well as narcissist and authoritarian mode. Not only does he tell bad “jokes”, but he has no sense of when it is appropriate to speak. Some may like him for saying what he feels like saying and not trying to be politically correct, but when living in a world environment with so much at stake that is severely dangerous.

LOS ANGELES (AP) – A pocket version of the U.S. Constitution has become a best-seller on Amazon.com.

The 52-page pamphlet printed by the National Center for Constitutional Studies sells for $1 and was in the Top 10 best-selling books on Amazon on Saturday afternoon. The site produces an hourly list of its best sellers.

The Constitution emerged as a best-seller days after Muslim-American lawyer Khizr Khan, whose son was killed while serving in Iraq, flashed a pocket Constitution and offered to lend it to Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump during a speech at the Democratic National Convention.

I just posted (I think to Nena) on the previous thread that maybe Hillary’s campaign should offer pocket Constitutions on their website (Sept. 17 is Constitution Day) both to honor our country and Mr. and Mrs. Kahn – for small donations to her campaign. Not to cash in on tragedy, but to remind Trump and his buffoons that WE already know what our country should look like, thank you very much. Anybody here work with the campaign who could pass that suggestion along?

I received a recorded phone survey from PPP this evening. First time ever. It was generally Pennsylvania specific, but included questions like favorability for both major candidates etc. It asked “If the election was today, would you vote for 1) Hillary Clinton, 2) Donald Trump, 3) Undecided”. But near the end of the survey one question stood out; “If you had your choice for President would you choose 1) Barack Obama, 2) Donald Trump, 3) Harambe”. Seriously, those were my choices. There was one other question that included “Harambe” as a choice too, but I can’t recall what the question was? I got the feeling it was some kind of trap question to see if I knew what the heck I was talking about? Anyone else get one of these calls?

A light task for TODObots: I have submitted a whole bunch of my favorite photographs to The Weather Channel 2016 photo contest. Voting begins tomorrow night at midnight. My entries are under Pamela – Seattle. I’ll bring over a link, and it sure would be awesome to win First Prize: $15K. That would pull me up to a normal wavelength pretty fast!! Submission closes tomorrow at midnight, so if you have ever wanted to try something like this, do it!! ❤💞🕉☯☮⭐☮☯🕉💞❤ And Thank You!

I had to get an extended service contract with Dell to get my computer to actually work again. It was a nightmare. Also, it is a headache if you want to go back to Windows 7. All I can say, is if you did a mirror image backup you may want to keep that on hand. I have two of them on different scan disks. And we did one in our office, had to reinstall everything. Microsoft has been stealthily downloading Windows 10on computers with out actually knowing that is what is going on. The freebie is done as of today. Good luck 57.

I did the upgrade on my laptop, not my PC, just to get used to it. I have very little on it. The upgrade worked pretty well, although I have heard the horror stories you report. On my PC, for the last month or so I’ve been getting “hard drive full” messages, and it looked like my hard drive was in fact full. It should not have been. I know enough about computers to know how much space should be used. About 24 hours before the upgrade expired, my hard drive was back to normal. I’m wondering if it was the Windows 10 nonsense.
