Nerdy, Brava to you for keeping it real and marching on while all hell is breaking loose in the land and especially in Cleveland. I love the way you keep on keeping on like a soldier carrying a flag through the battlefield. I’m reminded of what PBO told us about his daughters saying, “You be you, Daddy.” Can’t tell you how glad I am see “You be you” Nerdy.

And the media are still supporting the GOP. Chuck Todd prostrating himself before Trump staff is off the planet revolting. Thinks he is asking tough questions which allow the responder to preach to the converted.

    From POU:

    Kennymack1971

So on January 20, 2009 the GOP met with the objective of making newly inaugurated President Barack Obama a one termer..

    Today is July 18, 2016 and…

President Obama has a 56℅ job approval rate..

John McCain’s in danger of losing his Senate seat..

The GOP Convention has descended into chaos…and it’s only the first day…

The architect of Fox News is on his way out in disgrace

And…. Donald Trump is the GOP nominee..

Karma…it may not come when you want it to but it will come.

know i’m preaching to the choir here, but none of that happens without the brilliance of president obama and his family. if there was some actual scandal or major failure during his presidency, “the news” people such as chuck todd would pile on that and be ignoring republican insanity. instead thanks to our president’s genius, they are forced to show at least some actual truth about republicans, while frantically making up things about democrats to have some sort of false equivalence, no matter how false it is!

Ben Carson on why young black men should vote Trump
    07/18/16 02:36 PM EDT

Donald Trump plans to empower the black community in the United States by fostering an environment of “entrepreneurial risk-taking and capital investment,” Ben Carson said Monday.

“Well first of all, they have to stop and listen and recognize that the black community has been moving in a downward spiral for a while now. And a lot of it has to do with the economic situation that exists in this country,” the retired neurosurgeon told REVOLT TV in a video posted to its Twitter account.

Ben Carson is really turning out to be such a tragic figure. Despite his supposed brilliance as neurosurgeon, he really comes across as one of the most ignorant person to ever run for president.

And Every front page item on that liberal TPM talks about Trump or a GOPer

When Hillary is President & the dems win the Senate they MUST be first and in front of the media ALL the time. Sadly, legislating and voting in congress is no longer enough.

21st Century Fox responds to report that Roger Ailes is out at Fox News
    07/18/16 01:06 PM EDT

New York magazine’s Gabriel Sherman is reporting that Rupert Murdoch and his sons Lachlan and James have decided to remove Fox News CEO Roger Ailes, following a sexual harassment lawsuit by former anchor Gretchen Carlson.Sherman reports, citing anonymous sources, that the three are in agreement that Ailes needs to step down, but that there is disagreement over timing–namely whether it happens during or after the Republican National Convention.

A spokesperson for 21st Century Fox told POLITICO, “This matter is not yet resolved and the review is not concluded.”

Gingrich: Race relations worse under Obama
    July 18, 2016, 10:09 am

Former Speaker Newt Gingrich (R-Ga.) says President Obama has made race relations worse by criticizing the police.

Speaking on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” Monday, Gingrich said it would be hard to improve race relations “as long as you have Barack Obama doing what he did over the last few years.”

Gingrich said that most would have expected better “if you’d had seven and a half years of a black president, seven and a half years of a black attorney general,” yet “Gallup reports race relations today are worse than at any time in the last 17 years.”

Trump fundraiser resigns in anger after floor eruption
    July 18, 2016, 05:55 pm

CLEVELAND — A top donor raising money for Donald Trump and the Republican National Committee says he has resigned in disgust after the party muscled through a vote on the convention floor that squashed the “Free the Delegates” movement.

Gary Emineth, the former North Dakota GOP chairman who joined the Trump-RNC joint finance committee earlier month, says he was disgusted by the floor vote and immediately texted his resignation to Priebus.

Emineth says he’s furious the campaign and RNC worked in tandem to keep delegates from voting their conscience.

These racists groups from the slave holders to the current GOP have always found those who are filled with self-loathing to be a Judas goat. They always take some perverse pride in being one of the few allowed to eat the white man’s scraps and think it makes a full meal. They like talking down to other Black people while their mothers and aunties shake their heads in shame. When they no longer have any use for him, he will find himself lost and friendless without the 50 pieces of gold that they promised him, for after all, who can trust a traitor?

In my late teens and early to middle twenties I was very ignorant of the role I played in society. I was ignorant of the contributions the black man and black woman made to every civilization that ever existed. I was comfortable in my ignorance, but then I read the “Autobiography of Malcolm X” and after reading that book I was lost. I was lost because I came to the realization that I didn’t know anything. And from that moment on I must have read a thousand books on history, religion, philosophy, Wall Street, racism, sex, and even a cook book or two. In a way, I freed myself from my own mental chains. I said all of that to say this; it is astounding that a sitting United States Congressman would make such an ignorant, self-serving, and vapid statement.

      • July 18, 2016 at 8:41 pm

Don, for me, it was James Baldwin, but I understand what you mean.

I don’t know if you read Awesomely Luvvie’s BLAXIT (Black Exit) posts from last week. About everything Black folks were going to take when they left.

The numerous inventions of Black folks made some folks upset.
