Dear and Beloved NerdyWonka – you have me in tears and laughter, how lovely and hope-filled and elegant and refined, all the above and how we love them all, and we love YOU! Knowing you are here looking after everything and everyone is very likely the greatest peace of mind you can give our Chipsticks right now. Keeping her in the Light daily, and thanking you again!

Thank you MP for saying so well everything I feel. As we continue to pray for Chipsticks, we must also be grateful to Nerdy Wonka for the magnificent work she has done in keeping TOD going. To dear Chipsticks, you and your family are in your thoughts and pray that you find some strength to cope in this difficult time. And to the Nerdy Wonka, thanks for your heroic efforts to keep TOD going full speed during Chips absence.

I smile when I hear the 4 More Years chant. Sometimes I am with them chanting that too, then there are times when I say eight years is enough. Eight years is enough.

So the right wing haters want to tell us how much FLOTUS trip is costing, and how much the outfit FLOTUS is wearing, how much Malia and Sasha outfit cost. The Obamas pay for their clothes. And if FLOTUS dress is costing $5000 or $50 dollars it is her business. If FLOTUS never went on a trip the haters would still hate her, disrespect her, call her all kinds of disgusting names. Because it’s not about the trips or what it is costing , it’s about she’s black and they don’t like that. The President is black and they don’t like that..

      June 30, 2016 at 8:19 am

Doesn’t make any sense to worry about what the Rightwingers say about our President’s lovely family. I really could care less. FLOTUS and her daughters are gorgeous as is Grandma.

    GE TODville.

What I really enjoy about Justin Trudeau’s relationship with Barack Obama is that it is clear that PBO is his role model. PM Trudeau obviously looks to PBO for advice, and after Jan 2017 will ask himself #WWBD (What would Barack Do?).

Just another satisfying, enduring legacy of this remarkable President.

Another @MacleansMag video (just under 2 minutes):

And this part of the video cracked me up… I guess Canadian magazines are cheekier than ours, LOL.

That is so sweet. As a former Canadian, it’s great to see that Canada and the U.S. are led by such competent, tolerant, gorgeous men. Emphasis on gorgeous!

I was against my kids getting tattoos, not for any reason other than someday the fashion fad may fade and it would be hard to get rid of them. My third child, a daughter got a henna tattoo on her little toe of a dragon while she lived in Singapore getting an advance law degree. Knowing she was going to be working in a law firm she got it in a place she could cover. Her’s looked like a bruise though whereas Sasha’s is attractive. Hope she is not sorry someday.

      • 35 COS
        June 29, 2016 at 11:30 pm

Sometimes my computer post before I am done writing. 🙂 I meant to say that Sasha’s body painting is probably a body stencil, which is temporary. We use to have those years ago when I was in elementary school.

    • June 29, 2016 at 11:37 pm

Henna tattoos only last for about 3 weeks. So this isn’t permanent. I’ve wanted to try one but never had the nerve!

      • 38 Obama Grandmama
        June 29, 2016 at 11:55 pm

My daughter mentioned henna referring to her own permanent tattoo so I thought it was permanent. Glad it is temporary as I am for that. I even get pink and purple highlights (only seven strands) myself that wash out in a couple weeks upon getting my haircut. My thirteen year old granddaughter gave me Haut Chalk for Xmas and informed me she bought it with her own money. The gift was so I could add back my color after it washed out.

  16. June 29, 2016 at 11:36 pm

So, once again, Ms Sasha Obama is undoubtedly causing a very intentional stir!!!

She is going to be quite the FORCE and that’s been obvious for a very long time 🙂

    Good night TOD!

    • June 30, 2016 at 8:37 am

About Sasha tattoo, I don’t think FLOTUS would let her get a tattoo.I imagine she had to ask Mom and Dad.

      • 41 Nena20409
        June 30, 2016 at 3:08 pm

Bella2758, We really should not be judging others how they raise their kids no matter how much that urge is…….especially the urge of Freedom of Speech.
Last, Sasha has on a temporary Traditional washable or best, ‘fadable’ Paintings done in the Arabic speaking Countries, Indian and some other Cultures Asian and a handful of African Nations.
        Just for TOD FYI

Good coverage of the President’s remarks before the Canadian Parliament on Rachel’s show tonight. Glad to finally see it. The “Four more years!” part is fun to see over and over again – I noticed Justin Trudeau wiped away a tear after that friendly outburst.

Nerdy, THANK YOU for this feast! Amazing. What a sight to end another great Obama day. Politics is going to be so boring come January 20th. We have been so spoiled, and I have forgotten how many times I tuned out for months at a time pre-PBO. But I intend to enjoy every single day between now and then with the help of TOD!

Lovely photos, this First Family is an inspiration to the world, and a symbol of hope and goodness.

  21. June 30, 2016 at 1:29 am

Hmm? I just watched Larry odonell … He lied said Obama wouldn’t fix nafta and never had a meeting to fix nafta but trump would abd that’s his appeal to democrats.
    Is odonell losing it?
Of course in the TPP(Bc I read the WH spread sheet on it) it changes nafta to include the protections that is needed for a good trade deal. Including environmental and child labor laws and monitoring the currency of said countries.
    Now why would odonell lie?
Btw stunning pictures of the Obama daughters
