    G’morning Nerdy & TOD! Congrats vetivera24 on #1 🙂 Happy Sunday everyone!

Thanks Nerdy, for doing the most excellent job of keeping TOD going while our Chips is taking care of her mom.

GM NerdyW & TOD. Congrats vetivera. Our Sunday was sunny and windy – suddenly someone has discovered we should be having winter! I do not like the cold (although some think it is summer here all the time).

Morning all. The next few days are going to be very interesting. By Tuesday night, when the NJ results come in, Hillary will be the presumptive nominee and is scheduled to give a speech in New York. We’ll then see how much of a sore loser Bernie is and whether his attitude triggers a primary fight for his Senate seat. Al Giordano is waiting in the wings to make his announcement, according to his twitter feed. Hang onto your hats, TODers, it’s going to be a wild ride.

      Good Morning Jackie and TODVille.

I would love a primary to the left of Che Sanderista just for the headache he’s been giving me with all sorts of declarations from his mouth about POTUS, the DNC, the democratic process, etc., etc.

NCLB, I would really like to see a candidate challenge Bernie who is smart on every issue, can debate circles around BS, is not intimidated by his bluster, knows Vermont and is a master at community organizing–all of which describe Al Giordano to a T.

Projections from a referendum in Switzerland suggest voters have rejected a plan to introduce a guaranteed basic income for all.

Some 78% of voters opposed the plan, a GFS projection for Swiss TV suggested.

The proposal had called for adults to be paid an unconditional monthly income, whether they worked or not.

Supporters said since work was increasingly automated, fewer jobs were available for workers. Switzerland is the first country to hold such a vote.

A good west coast morning to everyone. Congrats vetivera on furst! Been lurking and been behind for a few days, but I wanted to also express my deepest thanks to Nerdy Wonka for the ongoing devotion to us TODers. Post after post you are there for us and our dear Chips (and mom and Danny). I hope you are getting some rest and having some fun time as well. I would start a new hashtag #TGFNW in your honor, if only I Tweeted. Have a lovely Sunday everyone. Off to be in a parade today in our little town. 🙂

Good morning all of TODville. It is a beautiful sunny morning here in MT. But we are having a heat wave. Yesterday and today will be in the high 80’s. Maybe even 90’s. Very warm for this time of year.

So glad to see Hillary do so well in the Virgin Islands. Now on to Puerto Rico. Would love for it to end soon.

    Happy Sunday TODers

Nerdy, thanks for the beautiful threads on Ali yesterday.

I can’t tear myself away from those video clips, from inspiring to funny to poignant. My husband would have so enjoyed them. He loved Ali so much. He LOVED his sense of humor. There is one clip he showed me a while back, I have been trying to find. It is where Ali is talking to someone, with his wife sitting there, and Ali pretends to fall asleep while the person is talking to him. Was the funniest thing.

Have a great day TODers! Thanks again NW.

I’m really sick of Bernie. He and his campaign accuses a Dem official of fraud in Puerto Rico. He’s claiming fraud BEFORE the primary. But at least the Dems in Puerto Rico are calling out BS on his bs.

Sanders’s message has resonated mostly with a younger, predominantly white electorate like those two guys. Their message and frustrations have been heard loud and clear, but their electoral defeats have resulted in an intensified pack or tribalist mentality that unfortunately has similarities to the white tribalism that has guided Trump’s campaign. Sanders and Trump are mining similar disaffections amongst the white electorate.

From the piece….we’ve talked about this very fact at TOD multiple times!

But what I don’t understand about Berniebros is their angst. One would think that with all the accomplishments of the Obama administration i.e. the economy and job growth, the ending of two wars, the repeal of both DADT and DOMA. The Berniebros should see this as a good thing, but no. So now the question must be asked, exactly what is it that the Bernibros want?

A “Revolution” baby!! 🙂 Who the hell knows. Really, Like the author of the piece said, they SHOULD be on the same page….they want to WIN and they aren’t, so there’s that. If they don’t, they will threaten to blow the place up. Because they didn’t win. Honestly, I’m over them all…different side of the same coin as DT. We need to save them from themselves and just VOTE! They can cower in the corner, suck their thumbs, hum and rock themselves to sleep when it’s over….it’s only bad in their head….I’m NOT going back! Morning, Don:)

They wanted someone to go to jail. They want the banks broken up, they want no drones, etc, etc. I hear so much from many of them here in Montana. They are so mad at Obama for not doing all they wanted him to do, they now turn that madness on Hillary and the establishment. They don’t look at the big picture, they only see what they want to see. I have two dear friends who are Berniebros. I say nothing now, however after Tuesday I plan to become more vocal.

“I’ll tell you how I’d like to be remembered: as a black man who won the heavyweight title and who was humorous and who treated everyone right. As a man who never looked down on those who looked up to him and who helped as many of his people as he could–financially and also in their fight for freedom, justice and equality. As a man who wouldn’t hurt his people’s dignity by doing anything that would embarrass them. As a man who tried to unite his people through the faith of Islam that he found when he listened to the Honorable Elijah Muhammad. And if all that’s asking too much, then I guess I’d settle for being remembered only as a great boxing champion who became a preacher and a champion of his people. And I wouldn’t even mind if folks forgot how pretty I was.”

      GA Dudette.

IMHO anything having to do with Libya tacitly implies #Benghazi!!! for any opponent/doubter of HRC.

PBO gets slammed by MSM when he suggests that our European allies didn’t pull their weight after Ghaddafi (sp? – dozens of ways to spell) was ousted, because it throws shade on Europe (which MSM is quick to defend aka Eurocentric POV), yet somehow critics think *they* would have been able to change what other countries do or don’t do. Gah.

Here’s something to LOL about (and soooo true!):
