    Hillary. 🙂 I’m with her!

” Donald Trump’s ideas aren’t just different; they are dangerously incoherent. They’re not even really ideas, just a series of bizarre rants, personal feuds, and outright lies. He is not just unprepared, he is temperamentally unfit to hold an office that requires knowledge, stability, and immense responsibility. This is not someone who should ever have the nuclear codes, because it’s not hard to imagine Donald Trump leading us into a war just because someone got under his very thin skin.”

A smart woman totally cutting to the chase…he won’t be able to contain himself. I don’t see how this charade will last till November.

He can answer any question meta – Hillary is probably 2nd best, but some way behind – the rest of them are over the horizon somewhere – too busy campaigning to have any policies – let alone knowledge

He should never be allowed to leave.

While I’ve been for Hillary the whole way, I’m not a big fan. I greatly respect her knowledge and ability, but shake my head with how clumsy she and her husband are at handling the cr*p thrown at them. (The President is SO much better at it, IMHO.) But today she was AWESOME in how she totally filleted that POS drumpf and scraped the cuttings into the garbage. A Tour de Force!

Thank you NW for this fabulous recap and these glorious photos! GE to everyone at TOD. A great couple of days for the Dems. First PBO eviscerating Trump in the way only he can do it, followed by HRC with her best speech yet. Good luck GOP, you’re going to need it to survive. As to Bernie, I was so over him months ago and now just find him disgusting. After all the haranguing about Hillary’s speeches, he still has not released his tax returns (even while attacking Trump for not releasing his) and now is not going to release his fundraising numbers for last month. He is totally done and the sooner we never hear from again the happier I will be. He has destroyed any place for himself in this party in the future.

IMHO, it’s good that bbc has the story about the missing Japanese boy. A good news story to offset the appalling US election and other bad news around the world.

Have read that the terrain the boy was abandoned in is home to a kin of Grizzly Bears — glad to hear he wasn’t attacked by one of those ferocious creatures.

    http://www.politicususa.com/2016/06/02/donald-trump-married-women-work.html

In the latest installment of Donald Trump’s misogyny, a 1994 interview has resurfaced where the presumptive GOP nominee said allowing a married woman to work is a bad idea.

“I think that putting a wife to work is a very dangerous thing. If you’re in business for yourself, I really think it’s a bad idea,” Trump said. “I think that was the single greatest cause of what happened to my marriage with Ivana.”

In the same interview, Trump also expressed a similar feeling about his second wife, Marla Maples – the woman he had an affair with while married to his first wife.

“I have days where I think it’s great,” Trump said of his marriage to Maples. “And then I have days where, if I come home — and I don’t want to sound too much like a chauvinist — but when I come home and dinner’s not ready, I go through the roof.”

    Great news.

    http://www.nbcnews.com/health/health-news/teen-births-fall-yet-again-hit-new-low-n584556

The birthrate for teenagers has dropped 64 percent from its peak in 1991, the agency said. The 2015 rate was the lowest since the federal government began tracking teenage births in 1940.

“We’re reaching record lows every year,” Brady Hamilton, one of the authors of the study, told Reuters. “These declines are absolutely astounding.”

The number of teen births fell to 229,888 last year from 249,078 in 2014, the CDC said.

    “THESE DECLINES ARE ABSOLUTELY ASTOUNDING.”
The agency has cited a decline in teenage sexual activity and an increase in the use of birth control as factors in the steady drop in teen births.

    Good morning dear TOD family!!

Chips – keeping you and your mom constantly in my thoughts. Hope all is well.

    And, so very true ….

“Speaking on the occasion, UN Women country representative Jamshed Kazi stated, “This comprehensive report captures different facets of women’s economic empowerment from the relations between malnutrition and lesser opportunities in the workforce to the extra burden of humanitarian crises on women. Kazi said provision of safe and affordable transport and accommodation options is imperative to encourage economically inactive women to join the formal workforce.

“Providing equal opportunities for quality education is also critical for women and girls to improve their employment options,” said Kazi.

Danish Embassy Chargé d’Affaires Helle Nielsen said that investing in girls and women is the most effective investment in development, reaching far beyond the individual women. “Investing in women’s economical participation is a direct way to gender equality, poverty reduction and inclusive economic growth, but for the world to experience progress, we need to give girls and women the equal opportunities to which they are entitled. This will not only benefit girls and women but societies at large”, said Nielsen.

The envoy explained that women spend approximately 90 percent of their salaries on their children and the health, education and well-being of their family, while men only spend 30 to 40 percent.”
