A Federal Judge Just Ordered A Dox Attack Against 100,000 Innocent People
    MAY 20, 2016 9:00 AM

A federal judge with a history of anti-immigrant sentiment ordered the federal government to turn over the names, addresses and “all available contact information” of over 100,000 immigrants living within the United States. He does so in a strange order that quotes extensively from movie scripts and that alleges a conspiracy of attorneys “somewhere in the halls of the Justice Department whose identities are unknown to this Court.”

The judge is Andrew Hanen, who conservative attorneys opposed to President Obama’s immigration policies appear to have sought out specifically because of his belief that America does not treat immigrants with sufficient hostility. Texas v. United States was filed shortly after President Obama announced policy changes that would permit close to 5 million undocumented immigrants to temporarily work and remain in the country. As the name of the case suggests, the lead plaintiff is the State of Texas, yet the Texas Attorney General’s office did not file this case in Austin, the state’s capitol. Instead, they filed it over five hours away in the town of Brownsville.
At the time, only one active federal judge, Judge Hanen, sat in Brownsville, so the attorneys’ decision to file their case nearly 300 miles away meant that it was highly likely that the case would be assigned to a judge that once accused federal officials of engaging in a “dangerous course of action” because they permitted an undocumented mother to be reunited with her child without facing criminal charges. Hanen later issued a nationwide order halting the Obama administration’s new policies.

Standing ovation for FLOTUS this morning at the Partnership for a Healthier America Summit. FLOTUS said I’m in this for life, I’m in this until we fix this. We can’t get tired or frustrated or give up. FLOTUS announces new nutrition label with larger fonts and info on added sugars. FLOTUS, I may not be First Lady next year, but I will always be a partner in this effort. I should write and tell her this, Dear FLOTUS you may not be First Lady next year, but know you and your family will be missed. Thank you for being a great First Lady. Proud of the job you and your husband are doing.

Like me, some of you follow Khary Pennebaker on Twitter. We need him in Congress. He’s running to represent Wisconsin’s 5th district. That seat is currently held by Republican Jim Sensenbrenner who introduced the Patriot Act in the House and made inappropriate remarks about Mrs. Obama posterior in a church discussion about about her efforts to reduce childhood obesity.

Even if you don’t live in Wisconsin, you may still support Khary with a donation

someone at BJ posted the following, and I think that they are right about the crazy from Oklahoma:

The Oklahoma Rs are in a tight political situation. Because oil and gas revenues are tanking, their economy and tax revenue are in freefall, to the extent that they might not be able to fund little luxuries like schools. Just recently that reality led them to cave on the Obamacare Medicaid expansion, which will help significantly with their money problems. All this frantic, vicious RW legislation is a swarm of shiny objects thrown in the faces of the rubes to distract them from the fact that the Kenyan Usurper has finally prevailed in OK.

Well, one piece of sanity from my red state: the governor vetoed the “abortion is a felony” bill passed by the state Senate two days ago. She said it was vague, and would not survive the constitutional challenges to it. Anyone with any sense knew that was so, but all Repub Senators except one voted FOR the bill. The Repub who voted against it is a physician and said the bill was “insane.” I have a feeling he talked with the governor! From his stands on subjects, I can’t figure why he is a Republican! A relief for the weekend. Even the local news is discussing how the legislature is playing with diversionary issues and not doing their job and making a budget. When the local news calls out the legislature, you know things are bad. Also, the Democratic minority leader got the lead comment on the local news. The Repub leader was second.

“Maia Dua,16, of West Sacramento, is a varsity wrestler and straight-A student who has added another title to her list of accolades: award-winning inventor. “I created a seeing eye robot. What it does is it replaces the average guide dog,” Maia said, showing off the apparatus and how she can walk it in her backyard. The River City High School student learned that guide dogs who aid the visually impaired can cost $50,000 to train and match with an owner. “This right here would run retail $600 so that’s way cheaper,” Maia said. “They sense something using echo location so if something in front of it, it’ll beep.” The robot was her submission for the Marvel Studios STEM Challenge, which called on girls around the country to solve a problem through STEM — Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. “You can be creative with anything. You can think of an idea and you have the power to create it,” Maia said, adding that she’s been a STEM student since the seventh grade….

…The robot has a lot of complicated engineering and technology involved, but Maia said she finished it in just four days because she learned of the contest May 14 and entries were due May 18. “I was waking up at 6 a.m. working on my robot and going to bed at 2 a.m.,” she said. As one of the top five finalists, Marvel flew Maia to Los Angeles to attend Marvel’s “Captain America: Civil War” red carpet premiere, where Maia got to pose with Iron Man himself, Robert Downey, Jr. She also got to have dinner with the women behind STEM-driven projects in Hollywood before finding out she beat out more than 1,000 girls to win the challenge.”

        GE cd4biden.

This may be PBO’s last trip to Asia, which will serve to heal to gaping wounds in American history, dropping the A-bomb on Hiroshima and Nagasaki to end WWII and the Vietnam war.

Unfortunately, since most of these events will happen in the middle of the night US time, no doubt MSM will still report whatever conflict they can drudge up between HRC, Bernie and Trump.

Ashamed to admit I haven’t read Dreams From My Father, but Eric Schultz (@schultz44) said today that this memoir by PBO gives the reader a good idea of how profoundly the Vietnam War affected PBO as a young man.

Thanks for the Tweet and info Arapaho. I’m looking forward to all of it, whether in real time or on delayed posts here on TOD. I think it’s going to be a profound and healing trip for so many people. And I can’t wait to see how our POTUS will speak about our history in these countries. He always has such an intelligent and interesting take on our history and it’s place in the world. And I always learn so much when I hear him speak. And I learn to see things in a much different light than what I expected. Always the teacher, he is. He should get the Teacher of the Year award!

The ‘3rd and 4th fronts’, which were supposed to bring an end to the 50 year dominance of two regional parties, got completely wiped out. The voters voted insanely for the same two corrupt parties literally shutting the doors for alternative voices, probably forever. The CM lady was voted in again with 134 to 98 seat majority, beating the 32 year old tradition of throw out the bums every election cycle. le sigh. But I will give her credit for bravely standing alone with zero alliance while the opposition party allied with a national party and other small parties came a cropper.

As per norm, all the hype about the ‘revolutionary youth votes’ and the soshal media ‘campaign’ turned out be a nothingburger.

One other good thing, the CM doesn’t have a brute majority (which did jacksquat for modi) and for the furst time evah, we have a very strong opposition party. What they will do with it, who knows.

So “berniebots” exist the world over as well. Couple of young revolutionaries that I love except for their loss of political reality – have decided all the parties are bad – so voting is pointless. Change is slow – having a strong opposition helps.

Thus said – if Trump wins in the US – I will close down to politics for the rest of my life and be a full time plane spotter.

Good Evening TOD! Been working a lot and mostly lurking here lately.

Saw this on Propane Jane’s Twitter timeline and wanted to share it with TOD. It’s about a former disability activist who was a “Bernie or Bust” BS supporter but saw that the finger-wagging emperor had no clothes. Reading about her experience with BS made me think of him endorsing that awful book “Buyer’s Remorse” and what a hypocritical pr*ck he was for throwing judgement on President Obama. Sanders didn’t pass a single bill during his 16 years in the House and sponsored only one bill during his 9 years in the Senate. The only thing I remember him accomplishing before his Presidential run were all of his his many MSNBC appearances.

I know that BS is finished and we should all be focused on the General and electing a Pres who will best preserve and protect PBO’s accomplishments, but I am hoping more and more people like this woman come to their senses so we can get back to celebrating the accomplishments of the last 8 years instead of hearing about how angry we are all supposed to be.
