For those of you from the old OFA blog this is our very own Vero (Imie) and her family who were honored the past weekend in Worcester, MA. I’m so proud of her and she has a remarkable family. I remember when her brother was Gabby Giffords physician when she was shot back in 2011.
She is doing well. She got married last fall. Unfortunately for some reason she got banned from commenting here at TOD several yrs. ago. BTW – Good to read you Theo67 😉
I think we have seen all of FLOTUS and Dr. Biden, so I think I will watch POTUS on CNN talking about bin Laden. I’ll go back and forth to make sure I don’t miss either one. See you later.
prettyfoot58, after listening to this show, I better not ever hear those racists ass tea party right wing Republicans say that this President haven’t done anything for this country, or this President done show leadership, The part about the measuring tape was funny.
For a minute there, I thought to myself “only 60% more to go.” #Math
A story? Oh, sure, got one. When my son was in high school and finally taller than I was, he only one time took on a “threatening” I’m-taller-than-you pose. After I made an innocent comment about his homework, he leaned in over me, and said, threateningly, like he was thinking of taking my life, “What do you MEAN you don’t understand ALGEBRA???????” He didn’t add “Dumbo,” but I think he was thinking it.
We still laugh about that. And I still don’t understand it. My mother used to teach her Algebra class in high school when her teacher had laryngitis. My son tried to teach me. Skipped a generation.
Raise them so they will be well adjusted, adults, who can stand on their own two feet. Not being 35 years old and still living and depending on Mom and Dad to take care of them.
Did anyone watch Rachel tonight? We don’t have cable and I quit caring about MSnBC awhile ago. But I saw on twitter she really went after Bernie for his Convention strategy. Guess she told him to have the class Hillary did and quit. I thought she supported him. I didn’t see the video or transcript.
Hi mtm, I watched it ( it was the first segment on tonight, and you can google the Rachel Maddow Show to see it. You want to watch the last 5 minutes of the segment). She didn’t tell Bernie to quit, but she did go after him for his convention strategy and said his idea was “fantastical, and that doesn’t mean fantastic.” And then she said, with a big smile on her face, that people could send their hate mail to her.
Hi mtmarilyn i saw TRMS and thought wow, she went there”, she compared BS to 2008 candidate BO. That basically HRC did not challenge BO at the convention that she rallied around BO. I think the superdelegates will pull support if he challenges HRC. I don’t think he will. He has to run for his Senate seat doesn’t he?
His senate run is 2018 – and he has already registered to run as an independent. Used the dems to save some money – or to make everyone love him because he didn’t run 3rd party.
It’s good to hear the report was true. I think I will go find the video. I wonder how he will be able to come back to the Senate and work with everyone. We will see how it works out.
Another thing from MSNBC tonight it was either RMS or LO showing Ted Crude getting a taste of his GOP medicine when he came face to face with Trump supporter who told him he is whats wrong with America. The only thing TC could say he is being punked by Trump.
