Hi Nerdy! Thanks for the link.

Do you or any other TODer know if there is a way to watch a livestream of the WHCD tomorrow? I cut the cable cord, so no CSPAN for me anymore. I can watch PBO and whomever the host is on YouTube later I’m sure, but if I can watch a stream, that would be awesome!

    • April 29, 2016 at 7:25 pm

CSPAN has a livestream. It will be posted here, I’m sure. Arrivals begin at 6PM Eastern.

Ti ringrazio tantissimo, Meta! You rock!

That’s 3pm Pacific, so I’ll miss some of the arrivals, but I should be home in time to see some of them, and definitely home for Larry Wilmore and PBO! Yay!

In light of a certain candidate’s recent adventures in Rome, I’m just gonna leave this here:

“During his improvised remarks, Biden, who lost his son Beau to brain cancer, thanked Francis for the personal time the two shared while the pope was visiting the United States last September.

“Biden met with Francis for a few minutes before the pope’s remarks, and he was scheduled for an official meeting with the Vatican’s Secretary of State, Italian Cardinal Pietro Parolin, early in the afternoon Rome time.”

Thank you so much, MadameS, for sharing this. VP Joe Biden is one of my heroes! I was 26 years when he, the youngest person ever elected to the U.S. Senate, lost his first wife and daughter because of the car accident. He showed so much strength and character by not giving up! In 2008, I was conflicted between supporting him and the then Senator Obama from Illinois. Thankfully, by the time I voted in California, Senator Biden had suspended his run for the presidency. I was so elated when President Obama selected him to be the VP! I was devastated when he lost his beloved son, Beau, to brain cancer. I especially shared his pain because in 1992 I lost my 16 year-old daughter to brain cancer. I am amazed at VP Biden’s strength because, even after 24 years, I’ve never been able to get over the pain for the loss of my daughter. I am so glad that VP Joe Biden is heading the cause to find a cure to cancer.

Thank you for sharing with us nathkatun7. Losing a child is something you never really get over. I agree Biden is one of my heroes. His strength has been inspiring to witness. So blessed we have had 2 men of strength and character for the last 8 years.

Recently a blue stone from the Caribbean, Larimar, has been brought to my attention, for various reasons. I found a source of gifted stone workers, wanted to share with y’all.

    Check them out.

I do miss Oleta Adams, fab talent. But, I hope, despite lupus, she’ll be able to produce another album one day.

Thank you Chips, all the wonderful bits and all the folks who have made the place a place of truth and information. I, like several others here have tried to listen to left radio. We don’t have many left. The Bernie people have taken over. I can’t listen to all their delusional talk anymore. They talk about what a wonderful honest, real politician he is. I want to throw up. Stephanie Miller is the only one I can handle and she is constantly getting attached for Bernie bashing, which she doesn’t. These Elmo’s are the lefts tea party and I am afraid they want to take us down. I believe the President can help once he can campaign. I don’t know what Bernie will do. I think he wants trouble. I want Bernie gone

I am afraid for Bernie to be pressured to be out too quickly. He would get too much sympathy and people would be outraged thinking of his mistreatment. There would be no way they would transfer their support to Hillary.
Bernie needs to quit trying to get them to start a revolution and start bringing them around to support Hillary in a comfortable fashion. I am afraid he is too into his own raging rebellion ideas as well as feeling he was cheated. He has incited his listeners into his idea of rejecting Hillary.

I do agree, I just am tired of all this talk and he doesn’t reel any of it in or take responsibility for any of it.
