Charlotte. Ironically Geroge III (yes that one ) wife’s name was Charlotte. The couple had fifteen children.

FYI : Queen Charlotte was of Moor Ancesrty and had very African features… This is where the Royal family (Queen E II) acknowledged and embrace black royal blood lines. I love Queen Charlotte. The queen supported abolishing slavery in the colonies – which is also perhaps why the American Revolution happened, or a sliver of the reasons besides taxation.

I know some, who shall be nameless here, are really jealous of the relationship that the Obamas have with the Royals. There is obvious liking and respect (I especially like the double cheek kiss between Harry and MO; they have met and done things related to Joining Forces/Wounded Warriors several times and there is an ease to their relationship) between the them. It is huge that the 90 and 94 year-old Royals met them personally and drove them to up to the castle. The dinner hosted by the younger royals is not something that they needed or had to do and to bring their toddler to meet the Obamas, well I am almost breathless. This has never been and probably will not be done again. I am sure that the haters, the obvious ones and the ones that are supposed to be on their side, are imploding from jealousy.
Don’t name names, because I would like to know why anyone would be jealous of the relationship that the Obamas have with the Royals?
This is in reference to political figures here in the US.

Oh, how I loved him growing up….desert island with Frampton Comes Alive….
DF, you’ll get a kick out of this: An old boyfriend of mine was an underground club promoter and DJ in the mid and late ’80s. One of his famous nightspots would have performance art installations with a different theme every week. One week the theme was “Dead Rock Stars”. They had Jim Morrison, Elvis, Joplin, etc. impersonators walking around and performing. One entire wall of the huge ballroom was painted to look like the album cover art for “Frampton Comes Alive!” and a man dressed like Peter Frampton stood in the center, under the title, motionless, posing with a guitar in his hands, just like the album cover, for almost the entire night. Then, after several hours, my ex started spinning “Do You Feel Like We Do”. The guy dressed up like Peter Frampton then “came alive” and started lip syncing and fake-playing his guitar to the music. Needless to say the crowd went wild. 🙂

Of course, the news of the sudden and shocking death of Prince loomed over the entire evening, like music blaring through stereo speakers; pulsating, vibrating, and reverberating sounds you could either choose to attempt to ignore or acknowledge. And when his death was broached, of course there were acknowledgements of his artistic impact and the sheer surreality of this news. But something else was brought up (repeatedly) as well. Prince was Black as fuck.
