I was going to create of a list of things Blacker than the face of Harriet Tubman — perhaps the fiercest and baddest person to ever plant a foot on American soil — replacing Andrew Jackson’s on the 20.

But I decided not to. Because nothing I could possibly cite or conjure would be Blacker than this woman — this American who lived as a fearless, relentless, and unambiguous challenge of America; her very existence both an indictment of our nation and the fullest and beautifulest paean to the kidnapped Africans living within it — existing on our currency. The same currency she could have been purchased for 170 years ago. The Blackness scale has officially been broken. Obliterated. Decimated.
And all I know is that I will never break a 20 dollar bill again.
Oh yes, I have a brother that’s jet black and I greet him by calling him “black,” this is so delicious.

Don’t know what DWS’ congressional constituents think of her performance but I personally would LOVE to removed from Chair of DNC. She should’ve been tossed after 2012, if not then, most certainly after 2014 for utter incompetence.

I thought Pope Francis had it covered until he took the Australian Cardinal Pell to live in the Vatican when it was known in Australia that the Cardinal would have to give evidence before our Royal Commission into child abuse. Then it just happened that he was “too ill” to fly back to Australia for the hearings.

Interesting that they refer to “the fifties” as casually as we would when referring to Ike, hula hoops and Davy Crockett coontail hats.

Bernie Sanders will remain a member of the Democratic Party after his primary election against Hillary Clinton, his campaign manager said Wednesday.
The independent Vermont senator’s congressional website currently notes that Sanders is the “the longest serving independent member of Congress in American history,” though he caucuses with Democrats.
