But I don’t want a revolution. There are too many wars already; then there is extremism in all corners, including ISIS, Boko-Haram, US anti-abortionists and women haters, to name a few. I want a YU-U-U-UGE win for HRC tonight to put and end to this Socialist campaigner-whiner-and-delegate process-complainer.

    That’s what I want.

Not that simple. If actual previously registered Dems (and Republicans) have been purged from the rolls, through no fault of their own, this should be addressed. We’ve seen this happen elsewhere – Florida comes to mind. Their votes should be counted. How that gets determined, though, I have no idea.

In the meantime, people have been voting since early this am and by the time this hearing is even concluded, let alone acted upon, the 2016 NY primary will be over.

Hi, NCLB. Since the total population of Erie is less than 100,000, I would love to see him make an exaggerated claim like that. It’s like the claim he made on his FEC filing that the $10 million he reported in donations from the same zipcode in one day came from over 300,000 donors–almost half the population of that zipcode– deciding together to give $35 that day. Oh what tangled webs we weave…

At this point in 2008, Sen. Obama was ahead of Hillary by 100 delegates and it was said his lead was unbeatable, even after he lost Pennsylvania to Hillary by ten points. Now that Hillary leads Sanders by over 200 delegates, his campaign assures his followers that he has a path to victory. If this makes sense to anyone who is not a Berniebot, I’d love to hear how.

Rules & common sense don’t apply to BS. I think the most shocking thing to me has been the realization that he has done absolutely nothing in Congress but complain and pick up a paycheck. You can rail against banks & Wall St., but did you contribute anything to Dodd-Frank? Ask to be involved? Anything? Bueller?!?!

    Voter Suppression is…

when you would be 42 years old, if you had stayed in the state of your birth before you’d be able to vote in this country and that’s AFTER you put on the uniform and put your life on the line for said country

when you attempt to register people to vote and wind up with a cross burning on your lawn

when you have a Bachelors and Masters degree, and are asked to inform the registrar – how many bubbles are in a bar of soap.

or how many jelly beans are in that jar.

or to recite the preamble to the U.S. Constitution..

and, even after you’ve done that, you are asked to recite the Declaration of Independence – verbatim.

Or, you have to take a test, on your state’s constitution, that lawyers, registered to practice law in your state – don’t know….

Or, being told that you can get a ‘ Free Voter ID’, but in order to get the ‘ Free ID’, you have to spent Hundreds of $$$$, and make numerous trips to various agencies to get the paperwork for the ‘ Free Voter ID’

ALL of the above is voter suppression.

    What is NOT Voter Suppression?

You being too fucking lazy to know the ins and outs of VOTER REGISTRATION DEADLINES.

You being too arrogant and believing that the laws, which have been in place – FOR YEARS – should be changed, because, well, of YOU.

They didn’t just come up with a closed primary in New York last week, last month, or last year.

And, if ‘offends’ you to register with a political party…that is YOUR RIGHT.

But, sit down, shut THE PHUCK up, and wait for you turn to vote in November.

If you don’t like that there is no Early Voting – get the legislature to change it.
If you don’t like that there is no ‘ No Reason’ Absentee – get the legislature to change it.
If you don’t like that it’s a ‘closed Primary’ – get the legislature to change it.
If you don’t like that there is no Election Day Registration – get the legislature to change it.

IF you have not spoken up before about these things…then go somewhere and STFU.

  33. April 19, 2016 at 2:55 pm

You want to know why you should vote?

    THE SUPREME COURT.

There was a post yesterday, about the woman who follows the Supreme Court for Slate, and how, THIS was supposed to be the year where the SC was going to deliver a big FU to President Obama.

In case after case, they had greased the wheels so that the SC could just deliver a number of body blows to the President.

But, then, Fat Tony went up and died.

    So, you don’t like Hillary.

    Hell, I don’t like Hillary.

    But, there are real cases.

The outcome will affect MILLIONS of your fellow Americans.

So, maybe they don’t affect you.

But, you don’t have enough concern for your fellow citizens that you should know better that it’s important that a DEMOCRAT fills that seat?

You don’t like Money in Politics?

    CITIZENS UNITED

You don’t know why so many of us are talking about ‘Voter Suppression?’

THE GUTTING OF THE VOTING RIGHTS ACT.

Why is this hard for some people to get?

The Court is literally – IN FRONT OF YOUR EYES-hanging in the balance.

And, that’s not enough reason to get out and vote?

    REALLY?
    SERIOUSLY?

To put it mildly, it’s not at all common for a Democratic presidential candidate to accuse his own ostensible party, late in the primary process, of being involved in an illegal scheme, but 2016 really isn’t a normal year.

Right off the bat, it’s worth noting that the Democratic National Committee offered Team Sanders the identical opportunity for a joint fundraising operation, but the senator declined – not because the joint victory fund is illegal, but because Sanders preferred to simply do his own thing, separate from the national party.

What’s more, the Sanders campaign didn’t take its complaints to the Federal Election Commission, which is responsible for reviewing such allegations, but rather, to the DNC itself – the entity that already believes there’s nothing improper about its own operation.

It didn’t help matters when, less than 30 minutes after making the accusations, the Sanders campaign sent out a new fundraising message to its donors, asking for more financial contributions in response to the allegations.

Complicating matters, the Sanders campaign has made no secret of the fact that it hopes to persuade Democratic officials to elevate the Vermont senator, regardless of the results from the nominating contests. It’s a bold request, made more difficult when Sanders accuses the Democratic Party of hatching an illegal fundraising scheme that doesn’t appear to exist.

OMG!!!!!!! I’ve been listening to the Wayne Besen Show since 3:00. Just heard the third caller ranting and raving about voter suppression in NY, how Dems have been removed from the voting rolls, especially in Brooklyn, Bernie’s “stronghold”, blah, blah, blah. This last caller kept repeating that “if they think Ralph Nader was a problem, they haven’t seen anything. There’s going to be a war.” “I wish Bernie would run as an Independent and so do millions of others.” Then, he repeated all that. Okay, now there’s a fourth caller saing all these same things……all about flipping——-votes being flipped. One of the other callers said same thing……that flipping happened in EVERY state, in EVERY state. Isn’t it interesting that in 20 minutes of actual airtime, I’ve heard four callers with the EXACT same talking points. I am SO over this. Bernie needs to sit down and STFU!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay. Rant over. Gotta go to church for one of my weekly service jobs.

They rant like this whenever HRC is beating them. They did the same thing in AZ. But they are proud of suppressing the vote in caucus states, crowding the room with non-voters so real voters can’t get in. Older people who can’t stand in line or wait around all day. The true voter suppression has come from BS.

They are the Tea Party of the Left. No moorings to facts.

        Oh, Donna, you’re so right!!!

McCain who claimed to be a maverick gave rise to all the crazies on the right, and now this trend is overflowing on the left. We got Sarah Palin, Carl Paladino (!), the Arizona sheriff Joe Arapaho (!), the AZ Governor Jan Brewer, the aspiring Nevada Senator Sharon Angle, the UT Governor (who won) and countless more.

McCain should confess to His Maker why he unleashed such craziness upon the United States. He acted like an angry man.
