Hi, Bye.

Good morning NW!
I have 45 minutes to play in the Village before heading off to a meeting – YAY!!!
What time is the Science Fair? I’m waiting to hear from FLOTUS speak. Okay I just heard she will be speaking soon, no conflict for me I will be able to see the Science Fair too.
I’m waiting to hear FLOTUS speak, that’s what I meant to say.
FLOTUS is being introduce right now.
Our FLOTUS is preaching it like only she can do.
She emphatically says she’ll be working on this in the “months and the decades ahead.” YAYAYAY FLOTUS!!
Allergies. Yes. Indeed.
MSNBC favors sanders much?
They are currently following him walking down Broadway to a picket line of Verizon workers?
Sanders and the newsmen are out of shape abd huffing and puffing.
All this is breaking news! Lol
Lol 👎👎
Thank you for this series of tweets, Dudette. They hit on the element that is most enraging about the Bernie campaign, especially when I see fellow Democrats supporting him. He has no loyalty to the Democratic Party and would be happy to see its whole structure collapse. He has taken advantage of that structure to run his campaign, but if he left it broken in his wake, he would be happy. His campaign is being heavily supported by Republicans whose dearest hope is that he can somehow become the nominee. They know that even a weak Republican candidate could defeat Bernie in the general because he is a Socialist and has never been truly vetted.
One of the Ladies of Hamilton:
Charming! Thanks for posting this!

Thank you FLOTUS. You are the best First Lady this country have had in along time. What I meant to say.
This is a great victory for our FLOTUS. Brava to her!!!
FLOTUS was fantastic as usual.
Always AWESOME! 🙂
Today is Al Green’s 70th birthday! Woooot! 😀
Happy Birthday Rev. Al. What is my favorite Al Green song?
Yummy!
Boy, what a privilege to have my birthday the same day as All Green. I can only love him more.
By Opposing Obama, the Republicans Created Trump
Steven Rattner
APRIL 13, 2016
MEMO to Republican legislators biting your nails over the New York primary, wondering if you can finally derail Donald J. Trump’s candidacy with, gulp, Ted Cruz: You brought it on yourselves.
Not just by failing for too long to take Mr. Trump seriously or by lacking an effective response once you did. That’s well-covered territory. Most important, you created the anger that lifted his candidacy by years of systematically and effectively preventing passage of legislation that might have ameliorated the tough economic state of Mr. Trump’s core voters.
Mr. Trump’s biggest supporters are disproportionately white, middle-aged, working-class men without college educations, a group whose fortunes have flagged as globalization and new technology have rendered millions of jobs obsolete and cut into the wages of many more. While the trade agreements that Mr. Trump bashes have played a role, the mistake was not having entered into them, but having failed to sufficiently help affected workers adjust to the new dynamics.
Boy is this the truth, but we all suffer for it.
Summer Jobs for All City High School Students
By THE EDITORIAL BOARD
APRIL 13, 2016
…………………..
The city runs a summer jobs program that cost about $80 million last year and employed 55,000 young people, most of them high school students. But only about half of those who applied by lottery got a spot. The program is financed mainly by the city, and funding typically remains uncertain until the last minute. As a result, the community organizations that place young people in jobs often don’t know how much money is available until just days before the program begins in July.
On such short notice, the organizations can do little more than rush teenagers into jobs at summer camps or positions for which they have not been screened and for which they might not be suited. And because entry is based on lottery, it is highly unlikely that a teenager will be able to participate in two consecutive years. This means that many miss out on the benefits that several years of summer work would offer.
The Community Service Society proposal would make the program universal so that every high school student who wanted a job could have one. Under the proposal, placement organizations would work with an entire school over the course of the year to develop job opportunities that relate to each student’s interests and academic experiences. Screening and other preparation could begin many months in advance, with outreach to encourage more companies to take on young workers.
A well-planned, expanded program that served 110,000 young people would probably cost about $242 million. The city would not have to come up with all of it but could seek help from the state and federal governments. It could start with a pilot program that covers, say, about 20 of the city’s 438 or so high schools.
After watching Part 2 of the Jackie Robinson documentary on PBS last night, I couldn’t help but wonder if there’ll be a similar one made about President Obama one day. All of the insane racism he faced, day after day after day.
The end of the Jackie Robinson documentary had me weeping. When Rachel said what she missed the most were: someone to talk things over with and get support from, and his strong arms around her…..I burst into tears. Those two things described exactly what I miss most about my husband. And to think he died so young! She’s had a long time without him, but a man like Jackie Robinson stays alive. As my husband is very alive to me, and I think always will be. But those strong arms in a hug………nothing can replace that!
Yes, what tremendous sadness for her, this great man gone too soon. And hugs to you, {{{{carolyn}}}}
The Jackie Robinson documentary was worth watching.Glad I did.
Giant virtual hugs to you, Carolyn! ❤️❤️😘
But the editors of The Daily News also used the endorsement – which they knew would be widely read – to launch a professional hit on President Obama’s legacy, calling the White House’s optimism over America’s economic progress of 14.5 million new jobs and the longest era of private sector job growth in history coming back from the brink of absolute catastrophe merely “let’s-pretend rituals.”
I personally know Gabi via an association with my job and didn’t have a clue that she worked at the WH until the Cuba trip. She is phenomenal. It’s such a small world.
Awesome!

Hello TOD.
Happy Wednesday.
Congrats to all the Gold ⭐ winners, starting with this Fine Post and several posts since Yesterday.
I prefer those politicians that don’t speak in the third person.
If Sanders weren’t running for president, he would not be anywhere near that picket line. He is showing his desperation.
thisssssssssssss
For whatever reason Sanders supporters are forgetting that Bernie have been around in politics for thirty years and what have he done.
thissss
Excuse Most of Us, for Not earning $4M yearly?
Bernie decided it would be a good photo to stand on the picket line. MSNBC and other media outlets, of course, are obliging him.
❤ ❤ ❤
“Hundreds of thousands of Americans may soon get the debt monkey off their back, thanks to the White House. President Barack Obama’s administration plans to forgive $7.7 billion in federal student loan debt for nearly 400,000 permanently disabled people, the Washington Post reported Wednesday. While permanently disabled individuals have long been able to apply to have their student loan debt discharged via Social Security, the Post reported, the White House’s tactic will be to identify eligible individuals and reach out to them to start the process rather than wait for them to do so themselves. So far it has found 387,000 such individuals with a cumulative debt of $7.7 billion, for an average of around $19,986 per debtor, according to the Wall Street Journal. Nearly half of those people are on the verge of defaulting on their loans, which could come with severe consequences including the loss of tax refunds, disability checks and permanent damage to credit scores….continued”
GA, NW….figured this is the video you were referring to 😕
First thing this morning getting out of bed I hear my Senator Jeff Merkley announce on NPR, guess his endorsement is in the NY Times too, that he is supporting Bernie Sanders. Grrrrrr!
Got an email from him this morning (am a Washingtonian) asking if I felt the Bern. said no I stand with Hillary.
interesting that they endorse him today….
For murdering those 4 people he should be facing Life in prison.
