Thank you, President Obama, for your just and fair treatment of all citizens!

And now I really must walk away from politics for a couple of hours, and try to get Trump’s disgusting treatment of women out of my head!

Thanks for sharing this about our President, Chips – I sometimes think he’s the only sane politician in the country (along with VP Joe!).

      • March 30, 2016 at 4:49 pm

It’s sooooooo refreshing to get a break from the madness Jacqueline, was out most of today and away from it all, came back with a clear head! Then two minutes looking at Twitter and you feel like going back out again.

  2. March 30, 2016 at 4:53 pm

Kindness is always needed and appreciated:

    Congrats Jacqueline 🙂

    Good afternoon Chips & everyone!

I saw one worshiper likening this incident to being the Voice of God, spoken on a Good Friday afternoon. Person felt no further sign was necessary! Of course, same person seems to think tehbern is the living breathing reincarnation of Christ Jesus. Okay, y’all. The madness is overwhelming me too many days. Love you guys, tho. Big hugs all around!

I want to focus on the good news but I also want to hold in the Light the people being assaulted by the crazed Trump mob and also the people who are in positions to be super delegates. They are being assaulted in a different way I think. We are going to have to be very strong and I know a group of people that help keep me that way and they are here. Blessings and thanks.

We seriously need to start working on a military coup to keep him. Are you in?

          March 30, 2016 at 6:03 pm

I’m in – but I’m not such a bif fan of the military – let alone a coup – I believe this could be overturned while the US people suffer under post Obama stress

          22nd Amendment
“Limits the number of times that a person can be elected president: a person cannot be elected president more than twice, and a person who has served more than two years of a term to which someone else was elected cannot be elected more than once.”

Stupidist idea ever!! (Then again, I gather the guy wants a few months sleep – so he can have 1 term off 🙂 )

          • March 30, 2016 at 6:08 pm

I never understood it! If the people want to democratically elect someone 100 times, then why stop them!?!

            • 23 99ts
              March 30, 2016 at 6:18 pm

Well – a democrat was the only person ever elected more than twice – and PBO would be the first person since then where it would happen again – it’s another GOP form of voter suppression – they excel at this. The voting right s act should have been named the anti GOP voting suppression act.

              March 30, 2016 at 7:23 pm

FDR got too much done for the people, and other people had to stop that. He was the only one who had more than two terms. He got us through the Great Depression and World War II, and died in office. George Washington was supposed to have “set the example” of two terms, but technically others (I think) ran for a third and lost. Usually it’s frowned on getting rid of a law and going back to the previous standards while the same guy is running – which is why they vote for a raise in the next president’s salary and not their own, etc.

You know all this, I’m sure, but the basic problem in our history from my viewpoint is that WE DIDN’T KNOW BARACK OBAMA WAS COMING ALONG and that we’d want to keep him right where he is, sleep deprived and in the White House.

              March 30, 2016 at 7:29 pm

And I’m pretty sure George Washington was dead set on not making himself look like the monarchy – what they were all hoping to stay separated from – by staying in office more than two terms. He insisted on not being called “your highness” and other royal terms, and they all finally agreed on “Mr. President.”

              The end. (Sorry – TMI.)

Having woken to the usual news of more stupid comments from the GOP pretenders – I will continue to push the reality – every last piece of hate coming out of their mouths starts with the US media.

Why does abortion continue to be at the forefront of US politics – because the MEDIA keeps it there. Why aren’t they asking Trump the important questions about running an administration. How would he handle an economic melt down, how would he keep unemployment from falling, what is his view on unemployment payments, social security. What is his health care plan. Is education a right or a privilege. etc etc etc

But no – lets give the pro life fools some publicity – lets hate on women a little more.

The demise of the media can’t come soon enough.

Our President is a kind, decent, compassionate, just, competent, and courageous man. We are blessed every day he is our president. He embodies these words from Dr. Martin Luther King: “I will not be satisfied until justice rolls down like waters and righteousness like a mighty stream.”

I just got around to listening to the video – and the tears are rolling down – when the man next to PBO started smiling – that was such a moment.

    • March 31, 2016 at 1:18 am

Thank you so much, Bill R., for expressing so well everything I feel about President Obama. As you said: “We are blessed everyday he is our president.” For me, at 70 years, I feel even more blessed to be alive during his presidency. I know there is still so much hatred and ugliness in this world, but there is also so much beauty, grace and human kindness. President Obama and his family are all about beauty, grace and human kindness!

Sometimes I just can’t believe President Obama is for real. His kind and generous heart is the size of Manhattan. Wow, wow, wow, what a great man.

It’s starting to feel like he built a very solid cake the first few years – saved the economy, passed healthcare, ended 2 wars, and on and on and on – and now he putting the frosting on the cake. And he’s embellishing this cake with the most beautiful flourishes, for all to see and enjoy. Everyone gets a slice.

Well duh, don’t be blinded by the pink now. Widen your artistic eyes and you’ll see the contrasting yellow in the background, and the green and brown.

pssst: 😉 The pink is attempting what the GOP & media do; overshadowing or overpowering other voices.

All Trump would need to do is pull the “punishments” out of the attic – believe wire coat hangars and back alleys were all the rage, back when he was in his “formative” years. Where he remains, in his formative years, because I never saw any mature person out in public every day make it up as he goes along, like this guy does. Oh, and, I’m pretty sure I read he implied to Marla Maples that she should “take care of” her pregnancy, when she brought him the news.

      Sickening POS.

I was given a “safe” phone number in the 1960s – shared among many. Expensive option. Long story as to how I came by same – but it circulated around the college I attended – girls who were known to be pregnant were “sent home in disgrace”. Unbelievable – not allowed to remain in a university college!

If you mean his “punish women who have abortions” drivel, even the March for Life people came out with Planned Parenthood today and said that’s not what they’re for, and he’s the worst lowlife ever to run for President (I added that last part).

Me too! I even took a deep breath and watched CM with DT. Yuck! That one was hard to watch. Winging everything may appeal to many, but Hillary comes off knowing what she speaks about.
Better story. I had to go to the post office today to ask a question. When no one else was inside the post master asked me what I thought of the election so far? The employees cannot talk politics, but when Obama ran in 2008 it was very evident to those working at my rural post office whom I supported from my mail. I was involved with OFA. The two working there were also Obama supporters, only secret supporters due to their job and living in a Conservative rural area. When I got a bunch of Obama campaign buttons I let them both choose one from all the different ones I had, again when no one else was inside. Back to today. He is supporting Hillary too as he does not think a revolution can be pulled off. He said if Obama could not do it why would Bernie be able to do it? It was good to know I am on the same wavelength with at least one other person in my neighborhood.
