    GA/GE TODville.

Such spectacular beauty, what a wonderful place to hike — astounding views.

Did y’all see the videos Dudette posted on the previous thread? The music alone will lower your blood pressure.

Never posted a youtube video before, hope this works.

Are lingonberries in this video? If so, must really be like the Europeans Alps.

Here’s a longer video — the town looks so inviting:

Mark Knoller sounds like he’s beginning to realise that he concentrated on food instead of his best ever President. Maybe the GOP pretenders have brought him into the real world.

Shame Trump didn’t run in 2012 – then again, he knew he was well beaten at that time.

        GE PF58.

Wikipedia says Bariloche is nestled in the southern Andes — so different than up in Peru-Chile region, where the Atacama Desert is the most arid on earth.

Had never heard of Bariloche until this week. What a great place to visit, and no doubt the Obama Family visit will encourage many others to do so.

When I bought my ticket to D.C. today, I talked with my travel agent/friend, and he agreed that he expects tourism to Cuba to explode. I mentioned I would like to go to Argentina too. I’ve seen some great travel shows about Argentina, and seeing these pictures today, I would love to go. I got an email from Smithsonian tours and they have one to Argentina that includes Bariloche…..a fair bit of money,, but the trip looks great. Globetrekker and Rudy Maxa have both been to Argentina…..near the part where Bariloche is. I imagine some people will go there this year instead of Europe, with the possible dangers in Europe. I hope the Obamas get to return, just totally for fun in a couple years.

    Time to feed my poodle.

Thanks for posting that link. And thanks to President Obama for his balanced foreign policy, and his visits to Latin America. Way back in the early 60s, I had a professor of Latin American history who said that the U.S. has ignored Latin America historically, and perhaps to its peril. This was before the Cuban revolution! President Obama is doing so much to rebuild our relationships around the world, and Latin America is a very important and very large part of the world. Americans tend not to pay much attention to any parts of the world except the U.S. and Europe and recently the Middle East. Thanks to PBO for bringing other parts of the world to the public’s attention. Very important. I remember “the disappeared” and the pictures of mothers crying.

        how tragic…The Disappeared:

after the President de-classified the documents…there will be a great gnashing of teeth…

i was a young adult when they used to show the mothers with pictures of their children walking in the public sphere wanting to know what happened to them. I think many were college students. They would just be picked up off the street. It was just horrific.

      Gallop Questions

      1. Did you know PBO was dancing in Argentina yesterday while Europe was searching for terrorists
      2. Do you approve of the job PBO is doing

      • March 24, 2016 at 8:00 pm

hahaha 99…i suspect that folks will be watching the video for awhile….PBO is fearless

Yep – not too many world leaders could do that one with style – and not many world leaders would present the opportunity to one of their own. I really do wish he was the all omnipotent leader of the world.
