Hey Dudette, I hope all is well. You realize that Sasha and Malia’s formative existence has been in the White House, especially Sasha’s life. I don’t know if that has occurred before in the White House. Wow!
The pictures of Sasha standing by the portrait in the museum are simply stunning. When I think of the bouncy little girl of the first campaign it is just amazing. Beautiful and regal. Malia, beautiful and gentle. I couldn’t be prouder if they were my own.
They look so poised and ready to take their place in the public eye on this trip. It is going to be so exciting to watch them going forward with their lives.

Clicked thru new to see Cuba coverage. Hit on 60 Mins coverage of Argentine Pres., that was interesting. Then they just had to go & do the cringe factor — Cornell West segment. Jeebus! Click! Haven’t watched that show in years.
I just want to put sweaters around their shoulders in that rain, but I think that’s because it’s 36 degrees here – not 86 degrees as it is there – and turns out that may be overkill, as a mom. Ha!

Meta, if the Dems lose out on the PA senate seat, it’s because Ed Rendell decided to take revenge on Joe Sestak. Rendell is screwing up the primary and trying to hobble Sestak so he’ll be weaker in the general. To former former Gov. Rendell, his own personal vendetta is more important than the good of the state and of the country.
i will be so glad to see the last of his hateful face and even more hateful personality. I hope that he is defeated with such a large margin that he has to slink away never to be heard in the public arena again. I hope his brand is destroyed and that he is almost paupered by the barrage of law suits that will come his way when those he has hurt in the past and the other busiuness and media sharks come after him when they scent his blood in the water. I have to record, then fast-forward through the few shows that I do watch to avoid seeing or hearing him or anything about him. He and the rest of the members of the clown car still think that if a Black man can be president then surely they can. The good news is that most of the voting public has not allowed this so far.
