I have to admit, I’m actually beginning to like HRC 2.0 (gasp!) But, at the end of the day, the number one reason why I’m supporting her is in order to preserve, protect and further PBO’s legacy. She won’t be him, but I definitely feel that if she wins, he wins and we win!
LAWD! The goodness is just too much. Because he’s the President and I have the greatest respect my President and First Lady, Imma hafta to keep it at LAWD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Woot, what a welcome! I went to sleep not knowing I was a honey pie! Way to start my online morning! š š Thanks Ms Chips; hope your Wednesday had an equally *wicked* start!
I know DF, and I was just thinking, after 2017, we will have HRC in the WH and we will have PBO and FLOTUS and the Obama Foundation, keeping us moving FORWARD š
Until then, we have 10 glorious months of President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama….Yay!
I am trying to figure out the meaning of this chart. Is it referring to party of registered voters? Anotherwords on Republican heading does it mean Sanders is winning with registered Independent voters in comparison with Hillary as well as beating her with crossover GOP voters?
These #’s were from the polls released yesterday morning for the Democratic races. It is the cross tabs of the polling results of people who said they were voting for either HRC or Bernie…hope that clarifies things a bit.
Another example is Michigan:
Bernie won by 2% but the actual Dem vote in that primary was 70% (HRC won 62-38) but the other 30% of the vote was Indie/GOP (Bernie won that vote 70-30) …..which is why in FL SOS Clinton crushed Sanders…it was a closed vote (Dems only)
The way GOP awards delegates if Trump holds on he will win 12 delegates for winning the state and the other 35 delegates are awarded by whomever wins each of the 7 congressional districts (5 per) as of now Trump leads 6/7 so he is up 42-5 over Cruz by winning statewide right now by <.5% ….he basically won Ohio(WTA) if this holds….not to mention all 9 delegates he won from the N. Mariana Islands….I'm hoping and praying he pulls off the nomination….as I may have stated to you earlier this would not only put the Senate in play but open up the possibility of the House as well (even with redistricting limitations)…. having @GOPLeader McCarthy essentially endorsing Trump if he were the nom two days ago was a gift from the gods!
Since I don’t have a television, heard HRC and Trump on the radio tonight.
Trump has done a 180 from the “intelligible yelling” of the GOP debates and he sounded (gasp) presidential.
This country has so many ill-informed people that I’m nervous that voters may buy into his newfound humility — remember that CA elected Schwarzenegger and MN elected Jesse Ventura.
Once again we’ll be relying on PBO and Joe Biden to come to the rescue of this country, and FIRE UP Dems to get off their duffs and VOTE this November.
Arnold was fluke due to the Grey Davis recall…MN too…the have since elected Klobachar, Franken, and a Dem Gov. 2x…..just remember Trump has -70 disapproval among all voters. I guarantee HRC will get 15-20% of the GOP vote, plus all the Republicans that sit out and the Independent vote will go 70-30 too. I think it will be a 35-40 state win for the Dems!
With the exception of Awnold who was elected twice you can’t call that a fluke. He caused so much damage to CA thank God Jerry Brown ran to straighten our state out. MN at least did not vote for Ventura twice but i think Jesse had the good sense to not run.
Rachel Maddow trying to pull out the straw man that didn’t exist last week….talking about how MO & IL don’t matter because of split/proportional delegates…..the opposite of Sanders HUUUUGE <2% win in Michigan which was the "biggest upset in modern Presidential primary history"……completely ignoring the fact she crushed in MS that same day (came out with more delegates in total) and I wish I could find the Chuck Todd comments this morning where he was sure Sanders was going to win IL, MO, OH. The channel is freaking unwatchable. They have no freaking identity! It has become FOX-lite….their election coverage all day consists of GOP operatives and ex-Bush/McCain staffers on as their on-air pundits. Lawernce is the only one (though they never give him air time) who comes out with full-throated diatribes against Trump and truth bombs the ACTUAL race on both sides.
What a wonderful night! I am glad that the majority of Democrats turned up to vote for the only Democrat running. Bernie Sanders is not a Democrat! He is running as a Democrat because that’s the only way he believes he can be elected President. In his own state of Vermont, Bernie is still running as an Indepedent for the U.S. Senate.
Went out for dinner – so pleased to get back and find Hillary has won Illinois AND Missouri – very unexpected. Hard to understand how an independent can run as a dem – but perhaps for the best – if Bernie ran as a 3rd party would ensure a GOP President
Haha…. the people who were screeching about undemocratic super delegates want to be rescued by them. Not a chance. Bernie hates the Dem Party, and we are learning to hate him.
Mark this, I am making a prediction. When the story of the 2016 election is told and written about, it will be clear to everyone that African American voters saved America from fascism.
I think he is seriously delusional. He asks to run as a Democrat to take advantage of their money and organization, trashes the party and President Obama, gives no help to other Dem. candidates, and now he wants them to change their structure to help him because he is losing.
Three Royal Brunei Airlines pilots have made history by being the company’s first all-female flight crew, making their first journey to Saudi Arabia, where women are not allowed to drive.
The women flew the Boeing 787 Dreamliner from Brunei to Jeddah.
The milestone coincided with Brunei’s National Day to celebrate independence.
Last year women in Saudi Arabia cast their votes for the first time in municipal elections. A total of 978 women also registered as candidates.
They were alongside 5,938 men and had to speak behind a partition while campaigning, or be represented by a man.
The decision to allow women to take part was taken by the late King Abdullah and is seen as a key part of his legacy.
could not stay awake for the end results….glad that Hillary is 5/5….Time for Bernie to sit down…but he won’t because his goal is to disrupt the DEMs…a lot of lessons in the primary for the DNC…i hope they are paying attention
Hillary won 5/5 time for Bernie to sit down/he's running as a DEM 4 President but running as an Indie in Vermont….what a Fraud..We See You
GOOD MORNING KIDS…I DON’T CARE WHAT HAPPENS ON ANY SUPER TUESDAY BECAUSE WE STILL HAVE THE REAL ENERGIZER PRESIDENT…THERE IS NO COMPARISON!..WILL CHECK BACK LATER…SOAKING MY HEAD IN THE COFFEEPOT!

Oh Chips! That is perfect!

Always a winner:) Love my POTUS and FLOTUS!
I know DF, and I was just thinking, after 2017, we will have HRC in the WH and we will have PBO and FLOTUS and the Obama Foundation, keeping us moving FORWARD š

Dem race is effectively over..now it is up to Bernie to see how much damage he wants to do to the party or reconcile….here’s what is ahead
Better graphic….accidently cut off the Topline: click link in tweet for analysis
There it is….consequences for turning a blind eye:
I have to say…that these were not just circumstantial wins….there was Organization behind these wins…Impressive Organization….
They did well pf – deserved the wins
what i am trying to say…is that there was organized effort behind these wins…the protesters did more than protest…they organized…this is the lesson…
I did understand that pf – when I said “they did well” – I meant the protesters
kool
teann sez hills wins IL.
aaand I am outta here.
Sweet wheelie dreams
Thank you Chips – for posting the guy who just keeps on winning š
So which states has Hillary won tonight, can someone tell me, please?
{sherijr}
Indeed!
aww thank you, will check it out š
MO is still in play. Only 5k vote difference, 5% of the vote outstanding and all in St. Louis area, Hillary country.
Remember this is supposed to be an object RWNJ who has moderated 4 GOP debates already š š š
Had they consulted the Gods, they would have known that it was a crazy plot.
GE/GM TODville.
Since it’s after midnight on the east coast, doubt many people are around to see where MO primary is at the moment, but here’s current count:
MO primary results mirror 2008 in that it’s once again a nailbiter for both parties:
The way GOP awards delegates if Trump holds on he will win 12 delegates for winning the state and the other 35 delegates are awarded by whomever wins each of the 7 congressional districts (5 per) as of now Trump leads 6/7 so he is up 42-5 over Cruz by winning statewide right now by <.5% ….he basically won Ohio(WTA) if this holds….not to mention all 9 delegates he won from the N. Hope you’re right, LP.
Since I don’t have a television, heard HRC and Trump on the radio tonight.

horrible
Preliminary…
That gives the lead to Hillary in MO by a mere 2k votes:
H. Clinton 49.6% 302,759 12
B. Sanders 49.4% 301,560

Excuse me 1200 votes.
hillz leading now in MO by 1200 votes. 5/5 today?
Yup, grand slam plus…..
Damn..So much for Sanders’ revolution! Well let’s see how the media will handle a HRC clean sweep. They were waxing poetic about MI last week.
Goodnight, TODville, and all the ships at sea!
More on MO:
… continued:
See upthread — similar to 2008 when Clinton and McCain both squeaked by.
Goodnight TODville, look forward to PBO’s SCOTUS nominee tomorrow.
Well folks – the lesson to be gleaned from the 2016 primary on the Dem side is: Run to PBO, you’ll succeed. Run away from him, you will lose.
What a delicious and gratifying lesson, Hopefruit!
AMENNNNNNNN
GOOD.

GE 99ts.
Agree with you; Bernie as 3rd party delegate would really muck things up (and GOP/Trump has done enough of that this election cycle).
Troll so hard… but like President Obama said….he is a carnival barker
Former top Scott Walker/GOP aide… until she stated support for gay marriage and got fired:
Even racist Trump supporters vote against Trump would be delegates š :D: š
i always find this kind of thing fascinating…for a people whose ancestors came from someplace else to be critical of so-called “foreign” names
Problems with blk folks….nice cover
HAHAHAHAHA….these freaking frauds have been pushing networks not to count Super-delegates when showing totals…now this F**k off!
Poll: Who are BernieBros gonna protest at rallies more A)Trump or B)Clinton …. My vote is HRC. I wouldn’t put anything past them!
Haha…. the people who were screeching about undemocratic super delegates want to be rescued by them. Not a chance. Bernie hates the Dem Party, and we are learning to hate him.
I won’t say that we are learning to hate him…but we are seeing the Fraud that he is…
and there was a tweet about not being a PUMA…in Bernie’s case it is not the same…Bernie would destroy the DEM party if he could….not so with Hillary….
Mark this, I am making a prediction. When the story of the 2016 election is told and written about, it will be clear to everyone that African American voters saved America from fascism.
