(bringing over from the previous thread)

      Very true.

They only hear what they want to hear.

It’s like that silly RW misinformation claim that Al Gore ‘invented the internet’.

I’ve seen posts that PBO ‘floated a RW pick for SCOTUS’ – he did not do that. HARRY REID suggested Gov. Sandoval, who was never contacted by the WH.

But no matter – it’s one more thing the emoprogs attribute to PBO, false or not, so they can justify their deep disappointment (maybe too mild a word in some cases) in him.

Why do so many black Americans support Hillary Clinton? Stockholm Syndrome. They are faithful battered wives. They are yoked to Hillary by co-dependency: “I’ve stuck by you and suffered to do so for so long that you owe me, and I have faith that you will reward me later if I help you reach your goal now.”

      *************

Did not read past this paragraph…
Once again…we blk fplks are dupes…it can’t be because we see the Bernie campaign is bogus…and unlike some whte folks we vote in our interstes….

here is another point of view why blk folks are choosing Hillary Clinton over Bernie Sanders..

…Sanders has a history of calling President Obama naive and suggesting that he should be primaried in 2012. One of his most prominent surrogates in the African American community once said that the President had a “fear of free black men” and just recently suggested that civil rights heroes like Rep. John Lewis and Jim Clyburn have been bought off by Wall Street.

Compare that to Hillary Clinton, who has embraced President Obama and promised to build on his legacy. Not only that…she recognizes the challenges we face in breaking down the barriers that divide us and keep people marginalized.

Clinton and Sanders have assessed the threats we face very differently. Voters are faced with a choice of which candidate has most accurately defined those threats and offered a way forward. It should come as no surprise to anyone why African Americans are vigorously aligned with Clinton’s vision

I didn’t even check, but was that yet another article written by a white author on how the ‘blahs’ aren’t smart enough to know what’s best for ‘them’? #vomit

        • February 29, 2016 at 6:29 pm

and now Bernie and his merry band have skipped Super Tuesday…to concentrate on other states….namely the ones with predominate white voters….

he really believes that we do not see him…

Just read an article on a friend’s FB page about why Black folks in SC voted for Hillary. Article felt basically that they felt Hillary would do more for them. I should say that my friend is white and a Bernie supporter so the comments didn’t surprise me. Then some jerk comments that Black always shoot themselves in the foot and that we never learn. Yeah. So I blasted him: First of all Black people don’t appreciate being talked down to by white people. Run tell Bernie that. White people like YOU never learn. Stop insulting us.

These are the kind of white people that support Bernie. Entitled and think that they know what’s best for Black people. My friend I met through the NAACP, and has never said anything remotely this stupid..she just hates the Clintons.

          • February 29, 2016 at 8:05 pm

“These are the kind of white people that support Bernie. Entitled and think that they know what’s best for Black people.”

You know Dakota, I lost count of how many tweets and articles from Berniebros/gals that had exactly that theme, that those black folk just don’t know what’s good for them. It’s astonishing. Just astonishing.

              February 29, 2016 at 8:45 pm

You know Chips, there have been so many times that we Black folks have held our noses and voted, just like any other person who wasn’t happy with the with the choices before them. It’s just Black folks who get slammed as if we’re too stupid to know what we’re doing. We’re smart enough to know that while we may not be that happy with the Dem candidates, we aren’t going to go off and sulk and allow a Rethug anti-Christ (take your pick) to get the presidency.

          • February 29, 2016 at 9:31 pm

White purity progressives are clueless when it comes to the Black political experience in this country. Black people always have their political antennas up and can sense politicians who are spreading BS. Bernie and his holier than thou progressives have disrespected President Obama for the past 7 years. Now all of a sudden, they expect the Black community would to look the other way because Bernie promises a socialist utopia that will never happen under the current political system.

Seems like she also “doesn’t play well with others” – not that I blame her on her choice of fights on this one, but didn’t she make her feud with Debbie W-S on the number of debates a big public brouhaha? Now, I think Debbie didn’t act right, but if you’re vice chair, why not keep it behind the scenes and work it out? Don’t get in a fight in front of the cameras, which only makes the party look bad. And, believe me, I’m not standing up for DWS, because she’s lacking (to put it mildly).

As of the most recent census information, white people (and this excludes Hispanics who may have designated themselves as white in the data) make up over 62% of the population and A-A still make up less than 12.6%. We are few in number and on the bottom of almost every societal scale that there is and we are hunted down and killed by the hunters (policemen) that our taxes help pay for. We have very little power, yet there is on the one hand this irrational fear and hatred and on the other this idea that we are somehow taking over the country. Any alliances that we have with the various groups that are lumped under Hispanic or Asian is tenuous as best and only for a short time under certain circumstances. Entitled white people (and those who are reaching for this same entitlement) are always looking for someone to blame for their failures, or to cheat, or to use as a scapegoat (the way many so-called California liberals did when a proposition about gay marriage failed several years ago; yes, we still remember this) or a weapon against an enemy.
We are not voting for Bernie because we do not know who he is, nor does he care who we are. Many A-A people will vote for the Hillary because she is the lesser of many evils. This whole idea that A-A people are so in love with the Clinton died when a real Black man ran for office and won. To all of those who are talking shit about us and trying to suppress or to control the vote (because that what this is all about): Bye, Felecia.

i think that i will bypass articles written about the so-called fight over the President’s legacy by Hillary and Sanders…the media wants to pretend that there is a tussle going on …when really one candidate has decided to turn his back on the President and his accomplishments…enlist anti Obama folks as his surrogates and wants to bypass blk voters all together….

sheesh….We See it all…what will be the next chapter
