So MHP has left her show, let the purge begin. The black psyche no longer interest them, and now that President Obama is almost near the end of his run, our opinions will be relegated to the same place as before we had a black President. The greatest thing that President Obama has done for black people was to give us a glimpse of what can be done when we all move in one direction. As a student of history what interested me the most about President Obama were not his accomplishments, but what he did for the black psyche. He straightened our backs a little more, he stiffened our spines a little more, and he made us believe that the impossible was possible. He turned the extraordinary into the ordinary and he has vanquished all the boogiemen, it is now up to us.

Here’s the idiotic embedded tweet from bozo Chuck Todd:

BTW, no way there’s any comparison between their two RWNJ goofballs and our Teddy Kennedy and President Obama. Chuck, as previously mentioned, is an idiot. I’d tell him that, but he blocked me several years back, which I wear like a badge of honor.

        • February 26, 2016 at 9:28 pm

I have one of those badges, Jacqueline! My proudest one ever! 🙂

He’s nuts, JO’B. Anybody who could mention Christie and Ted Kennedy in the same breath and think they’re equivalent is not operating with a full deck or has lived his life on another planet. Christie is a failure as a governor, a candidate and a human being. Nothing he says and no one he endorses matters. Ted Kennedy–a liberal icon and the lion of the Senate–was connecting then candidate Barack Obama to the legacy of his beloved brother. That was an historic moment–a literal passing of the torch. Nothing could ever compare to it.

Reading that last part – gave me chills. What a time that was! So glad we all continue to be part of it!

      • February 26, 2016 at 9:32 pm

This is pure B.S. from Chuckie Todd, Christie is no way in the same league as Ted Kennedy. People on both side respected Ted Kennedy. The same can not be said about Chris Christie. Just more Chuckie B.S.

This might be the stupidest tweet I’ve ever had the displeasure of reading. This son of a bitch doesn’t understand history nor symbolism, to actual mention Trump and that walking tube-steak Christie in the same sentence with Ted Kennedy does a disservice to his memory. Chuck Todd is depressingly stupid, he is an idiot’s delight.

          February 26, 2016 at 10:37 pm

^^^ THIS! But if you had the opportunity to tell that to Chuck Todd directly, he’d go “Huh? What?” Not sure WHO in hell gave him any of his jobs or lets him keep his current one, just he or she is dumber than Chuck.

Hahahaha – do these guys ever read the stupid they say. Christie is looking for a job – Teddy was working for the American people.
Cannot believe that these pundits are paid for being so stupid.

Spare a thought for the Ireesh – general election today, looks like there’ll be no decisive result, so they’ll have to do it all over again. Granted, the campaign only lasted three weeks as opposed to, oh, three years.

Three weeks!!! The Irish are truly blessed or brilliant or both. Whoever came up with the idea of limited election campaigning should be canonized.

The advantage of limey system of governance is that the election dates aren’t etched in stone. The ruling govt can call for elections any time. Or if the governing party/coalition loses the parliament majority, the elections are called.

And all the governments in Oz are trying to change this & turn us into little USA. One state has done it. Our state has a referendum – all the politicians – except for a looney RW group are in favor. We just got the paper discussions. YES vote is in 25 point – NO vote in 10 point – but of course this was an accident.

The YES discussion is full of homilies “Mrs Smith said she could make holiday plans without worrying about when will be the election” As if she ever considered it!

The NO discussion gives facts – parliament will not be able to have a useful no confidence vote – cause the fools will have to stay for a fixed term.

I like the westminster system – many many positives. I’m voting NO.

I guarantee you, 99ts, it’s because of Bain Capital. In 2012, I followed the money, and Australia was completely RED with Bain Capital Investments. I felt sickened to think Rmoney had bought out the country I love so dearly.

One of our major electronics retailers is closing due to bankruptcy. Bought few years ago by venture capitalists. Gutted and put on the stock exchange – with a prospectus that should never have been believed. Thousands lost their money. No idea when people will wise up to these con men. But Governments approve their actions – sigh

Former Mexican President Vicente Fox on Friday kept up his withering criticism of Donald Trump, saying the GOP front-runner reminds him of Adolf Hitler.

“Today, he’s going to take that nation (U.S.) back to the old days of conflict, war and everything. I mean, he reminds me of Hitler. That’s the way he started speaking,” Fox told CNN’s Anderson Cooper in a phone interview on “Anderson Cooper 360.”

“He has offended Mexico, Mexicans, (and) immigrants.

Dow Chemical agreed to settle a class action lawsuit after determining the death of Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia made victory less likely.

The company agreed to pay $835m (£602m) – less than the $1.06bn a court in Kansas ordered it to pay in 2013.

Dow was hoping the Supreme Court would overturn the ruling, but the death of Justice Scalia left it evenly spilt between conservatives and liberals.

A split decision in the Supreme Court reverts to the lower court’s ruling.

In a statement Dow said it settled because of the “increased likelihood for unfavourable outcomes”.

There was lotsa whining form the middle class in India, with our msm acting as their loud speakers, that how all the candies are corrupt and disappointing and how we should an option to vote nota (none of the above). So our supremes, in their infinite wisdom, mandated such an option a few years back saying if the nota crosses a certain threshold, there must be an reelection in that constituency. And guess what? the nota has been ‘polling’ consistently at less than 1% ever since.
