    Ezra Klein
Donald Trump’s rise is a scary moment in American politics

    • February 21, 2016 at 11:03 am

If you consider the nutjobs we’ve had over the years I’d say it was par for the course.

Media attention is the media in Trump’s balloon. Stop giving it to him! Call out the fascist behavior, MSM!

I wonder if Ezra Klein would think Il Douche would be “fun” to watch if he were saying these awful things about jews and jewish religion. It’s sad that our media finds racism, hate against other americans so damned entertaining. How many innocent people have to die with Il Douche hate about shooting people and leaving a survivor to tell others. He sounds like Dylan Roof.

      • February 21, 2016 at 3:06 pm

He says Trump is not fun that he is

Ezra begins the video saying “Donald Trump is fun to watch…..” , he later goes into detail as to why he is dangerous. This sends mixed signals as the media often does. The media needs to be honest and blame themselves for DT’s rise and affection. They have made our political process a sick game where the losers are our weakest, sickest, and oldest population. When the media gets all up in the face of Democrats, liberal and minority entertainers to apologize to the GOP or police for stating the truth but never get in the face of republican and conservatives to apologize for their vile statements about Democrats, liberals, ,minorities, and women.

            GA jojo.

Agree with you, really can’t stand Ezra, the definition of snooty, IMHO.

And his wife is even worse. She showed her true colors years ago when Ezra tweeted a comment by her — something to the effect of “can you believe my ancestors were potato farmers in Ireland” as if potato farmers add no benefit to the world.

Here is President Obama’s response to the little girl crying and sobbing because he won’t be president for much longer. He responded on her grandmother Caprina’s facebook page.

“”Caprina, tell her to dry her tears, because I’m not going anywhere. Once I leave the White House, I’ll still be a citizen just like her,” Obama wrote. “And when she grows up, she can get involved right alongside me. In the meantime, I’ll keep an eye out for her letter, and we’ll always get to celebrate our birthdays together!””

SUCH an awesome man! (I kind of felt like he was speaking to me too).

    Good afternoon, TOD ohana.

Even with the ugliness and sorrow of yet another shooting, I am still mostly uplifted from yesterday because of #ObamaAndKids. we have seen the photos and discussed the beauty that is the soul of PBO many times, but it was so gratifying to see that there are so many others like us out there who see the goodness of this great man as evidenced in the love connection that he and all children share and were willing to win the internet with their twitter offerings. Grateful for Pete’s master photograph and for the one who started the trend (I do not remember the correct way to spell his name); what a wonderful antidote this was to so much mess that went on yesterday.

Something tells me that we won’t be seeing Twitter tributes to other world leaders interacting with kids in a hurry (! πŸ™‚ ).

I would also like to see a Twitter trend of ObamaAndSeniors started… there are LOTS of great pics of him with members of our oldest generation – it would be fantastic complement to the ObamaAndKids hashtag, and would also demonstrate how much this man’s presence and impact transcends all age groups πŸ™‚
