And another one bites the dust! So glad that he has failed so miserably. I hope he feels as horrible as many Floridians felt during the 8 years that we suffered for his arrogance, disrespect, ineptitude and almost criminal behavior. Good riddance of bad rubbish. Go home boy, mama’s calling.

He, Bernie, and the other clown car candidates keep thinking that if a Black man can become president then anyone can. What they fail to understand that the Black man that they created in their feverish brains is nothing like the reality of Barack Obama. He keeps winning because they keep underestimating him. Oh well, bad for them and good for the rest of us.

Love what you said very much. It rings so true. I felt like many of those so-called candidates decided that if a Black man could run and win, they had a certain chance. After all, they were on the opposite side of the spectrum. There cannot be any other motivating factors for the likes of Trump, Cruz, and Rubio. As for Jeb! (Poor Jeb! who thought that an exclamation mark would save him from tonight), he knows no limits to his privileged life. The WH was on his path, the same way it was predestined for Mitsy Romney. Foretold even.

It is so incredible how far this has gone. It has made me smile and uplifted my heart to see so many showing their love and support of PBO in this special way. Just think: one person started this and it has gone all over the country and parts of the world through tweets, re-tweets and the various media outlets that picked it up and spread the story (Times, CNN, NBC, Cosmopolitan, to name a few). One person can make a difference.
Thanks NW, for helping all of us to share in the phenomenon by developing the threads and posting the photos and tweets.

Campaigning is just something to keep Carson busy during his retirement, while he can get free government security. He has no interest in being President. As long as folks are giving his campaign money, he will be in the race.

There are still dollars for him to get for his fake campaign hustle. Why should he drop out until he gets the last dollar?

Inside Jeb Bush’s $150 Million Failure.

Jeb Bush, the Republican establishment’s last, best hope, began his 2016 campaign rationally enough, with a painstakingly collated operational blueprint his team called, with NFL swagger, “The Playbook.”

On page after page kept safe in a binder, the playbook laid out a strategy for a race his advisors were certain would be played on Bush’s terms – an updated, if familiar version of previous Bush family campaigns where cash, organization and a Republican electorate ultimately committed to an electable center-right candidate would prevail.

The playbook, hatched by Sally Bradshaw, Mike Murphy and a handful of other Bush confidants in dozens of meetings during the first half of 2015 and described to POLITICO by some of Bush’s closest and most influential supporters, appealed to the Bush family penchant for shock-and-awe strategy.

    Read more: http://www.politico.com/magazine/story/2016/02/jeb-bush-dropping-out-set-up-to-fail-213662#ixzz40lesLAtm

there is that shock-and-awe idiocy again.

  12. February 20, 2016 at 10:03 pm

How pitiful, the Republican party can’t fine a decent human being to take on such a filthy lying racists creeps like Donald J. Trump and Ted Cruz.

The kind of person who would vote for Trump is the lowest form of human being in the country. These are people for whom hate is more important than the health and welfare of the nation. He is having a good time feeding his vanity while he has contempt for these same people that he never saw, thought about, or respected in anyway until he decided to run. I think the thing that drives Trump the most is that he dreams of a day when PBO has to turn the presidency over to him. From the time that PBO raked him over the coals at the WHCD and from the time that he called him a “carnival barker” (a designation that has stuck) that Trump has burned to get some kind of revenge. He cares nothing about governing; it is all wounded pride and vanity for him.

So, I was yakking on the phone earlier when Jeb! suspended his so-called campaign. Had to learn it here, and just listened to his farewell dribble. (I mean if you lose to a person like Trump, that’s a pretty low bar.) That such a lesser being as Jeb! was in the position of being at a mic to put down President Obama and his achievements really frosts me.

But, alas, the last dumb Bush is gone, he’ll go back on the road from which he came, having offered nothing of substance, nothing of value, nothing worth remembering. All he got out of it was total embarrassment for himself and his entire embarrassing original family, and a new pair of contact lenses.

Don’t let the door hit you in your big fat ass, Jeb! And the exclamation point was all mine.

And thank God Barack Obama is still President of the United States of America!

Instead of coin toss…..per Nevada rules a fresh pack of cards is unsealed and high card wins. Looks nuts but in reality it was a 15-15 vote tie to see who got 1 delegate of 12,000 awarded.

Think how the dollars Jeb collected from his owners to run for office could have been better used to lift up humanity, in this country and beyond. It’s mind blowing. All that money wasted by and for narcissistic losers.

  35. February 21, 2016 at 12:06 am

This campaign may be going into meltdown mode…..who is worse with these days with Ted Cruz robo calls or what Bernie & Co. did in NV shouting down a Hispanic icon + all this dumb stuff?

White male, 50s, still driving around shooting people….started at 6 P.M. I’m sure it will be labeled mental health issues by the NRA and GOP by the time Sunday shows air without a clue to what has/is currently happening.

    what a day!

    (1) millions unapologetically acknowledging the unique impact of PBO on the children of every background;

    (2) Scalia and Jeb! => two scumbags finally gone from the political stage and unable to hurt the weakest among us even as they took great pride in their actions and sense of privilege;

it may take time, but indeed the arc of the moral universe always bends towards justice

I early voted today in my home state. My mom and I were the first two voters of the day at this particular precinct. The precinct people were so excited. One lady announced “we have to voters here”. It was about 9:00 and with the number of cars in the parking lot, I expected a few more people, but they belonged to the poll workers. Interesting fact, in 2008 mom worked one of the early get out the vote things that they had here for the primary for the president. This year not one HRC or BS team that I know of in the area. We haven’t got any signs other than…yeah even I can’t type their names here. Goodness knows I didn’t pay attention to politics before 2008, and I may be able to tune it out after January 20, 2017 but I will never ever be too busy to cast my ballot. There was too much blood shed for me to spit in the eye of my ancestors who fought so hard for me to cast my ballot. But you can bet, early voting is and always will be the way to go for me.

True. Democratic voters have to be educated to come out and vote in each and every election — not just Presidential ones. That’s how we have ended up with a Tea Bagger House which will not change for years to come.

Jeb’s political demise reminds me of the speech that Jesse Jackson gave at the Dem convention back in 88′. He warned….. “America, stay out of the Bushes.”

just watched the start of ted crud’s ‘victory speech’ on teann. his two daughters couldn’t look any more miserable. and the fecker didn’t even win today, so why drag these poor kids on to the stage?

    • 94 99ts
      February 21, 2016 at 6:51 am

Sane politicians have their young children on the political stage very infrequently – Cruz lacks any understanding of his daughter’s needs and all he seems to do is show their unhappiness to the world.

  47. February 21, 2016 at 4:46 am

This Clinton victory in NV is pivotal. It is now likely that there will be 11 primary victories out of 13 contests by big margins in the next two weeks Feb. 27 through Mar.8, sewing up the bulk of the delegates needed for the nomination. Bernie’s grab at a hostile takeover of the Dem Party with electoral catastrophe in the general election is mostly finished now.

After spending the last 3 hours playing catch up, I am a puddle!

    I can only add

BS still looks and acts like an unmade bed.
    HRC still has my vote.
    Scalia is still wormfood

But, most importantly, Barack Obama, the BEST in my 64 years is STILL President of the United States of America!

Thank you, 99. The man will be a global treasure for the rest of his life, I have no doubt. I am so grateful to be here and sharing with all the jewels, including YOU, in the TOD treasure box. Wishing peace and wellness to you and yours with many thanks for the DownUnder perspective.

Hello lynn – prior to PBO my most admired person was Nelson Mandela. He was, for so many years a global treasure. Almost the only person who could have avoided a civil war in South Africa. President Obama is that kind of man. He will be forever loved.
