THE REPUGNANTS HAVE A SEVERE PROBLEM WITH JEALOUSY…PBO HAS MANAGED TO OPEN SO MANY DOORS TO INTERNATIONAL INCLUSION…EXACTLY THE OPPOSIT OF AMERICAN EXCEPTIONALISM…WE ALL BLEED THE SAME…THE REPUGNANTS HAVE REFUSED TO LEARN THAT LESSON…EXCEPTIONALISM EVENTUALLY STAGNATES AND IT EVENTUALLY BECOMES OVERWHELMED BY THE STENCH OF ENVY AND HATRED…JESUS CHRIST NEVER CROSSED THAT RIVER…HE LOVES EVERYONE AND SO MUST WE!

“U.S. Senate Democratic leader Harry Reid said on Thursday he believes President Barack Obama will nominate a replacement for the late Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia in a little over three weeks. “I think it will be a little over three weeks,” Reid said in an interview on MSNBC, adding that he spoke to Obama about the nomination on Thursday.”

Am watching the Democratic Town Hall right now.
Found out my son and his wife are caucusing for Bernie Sanders in Reno on Saturday. I thought that might be the case and there is nothing I can do to dissuade my daughter-in-law. Her personality fits the Bernie supporters as emotional over realistic. I thought I could reason with my son. It did not work. They will support the Dem candidate in the GE though. I am worried that Bernie can pull off the win because he is resonating with many young voters.

glad that you can focus on the Dem GE candidate, that is what matters in the end. no more gop

      GM OG.

This is a 30-minute video of David Plouffe (volunteer for HRC) and Jeff Weaver (Sanders campaign manager) from yesterday talking about Saturday’s NV Dem caucus:

      IMHO, interesting points:

      1) Then-Senator Barack Obama won 2008 in the areas that Sanders is strongest in now (northern [and rural?] NV) — didn’t remember this detail, and after recent Cliven Bundy, Oregon standoff events, seems a bit surprising, since HRC did better than then-Senator Obama in 2008 primaries in other parts of the US.

      2) Plouffe said that Jeb! Bush is done, that if “he were a betting man” GOP nominee will be either Trump or Cruz (!).

      3) Plouffe also echoes my gut feeling that Mar 15 primaries will be more consequential than Super Tuesday (Mar 1). Fewer states cast ballots on Mar 15, but they’re big states and more representative of US ((Florida, Illinois, Missouri, North Carolina, Ohio); Super Tuesday is weighted toward southern states, which are representative of the US as a whole.*

      4) Plouffe brought up the fact that Sanders proposes increasing taxes on those earning $50K/year by $45/month, while HRC’s goal is lower taxes for middle class.

      * For more info on Mar 1 vs. Mar 15 see my response to 99ts on previous thread, with Meta’s response to me as well:

Dear OG I am so with you my niece caucused for the Bern in Iowa, her mom is also a Bernie supporter, despite his abhorrent position on guns…they both made excuses for him….I am so distressed and angry that they are blind to the Berns ridiculous policies…… as a proud Obot, I do not feel the Bern. I have taken a break for talking with family and friends about the Bern because I am too angry to be resourceful in finding holes in their arguments.

As much as I detest Trump, I wish the news journals would not alter the photos to make the person look more evil (skin complexion coloring).

I remember when they darkened Obama’s skin to make him appear more evil. I do not like that manipulation no matter what side the subject is on.

      • February 18, 2016 at 10:34 pm

Unfortunately they all do it, Obama Grandmama. One thing I do notice is all *MSM news organizations seem to always find the most unflattering photos of women when posting accompanying articles. (Speaker Pelosi comes to mind immediately)

MANY EVANGELICALS BELIEVE THAT THE POPE IS THE ANTI- CHRIST’S FALSE PROPHET…SO THESE REACTIONS ARE TO BE EXPECTED.

The King children must still be having problems because you never see Dexter the youngest son of MLK . I see MLK Jr. and Bernice in the picture. I bet it would hurt their parents to see what has been going on between them.

I NOTICED LAST NIGHT AT THE CNN TOWN HALL AND THERE SHOULD BE MORE OF IT…TRUMP IS VERY UNCOMFORTABLE WITH THAT SCENARIO…I THINK HE’S AFRAID OF THE QUESTIONS AND WHEN HE CAN’T ANSWER…HE CIRCLES THE WAGONS BY CHANGING THE SUBJECT. HE NEEDS TO BE PINNED ON POLICY…THE DEBATES ARE STUPID AND SHALLOW AND DON’T GO FAR ENOUGH TO CHALLENGE THE CANDIDATES….TRUMP NEEDS TO BE PINNED IO THE WALL…YOU KNOW THAT GAME WHERE YOU SEEK TO PIN THE TAIL ON THE JACKASS!

Agree – but where’d that one come from? Under the radar, I guess.

How are you tonight, LP? (Tomorrow’s my son’s 47th birthday – we’ve been celebrating all month – Ha!)

  13. February 18, 2016 at 11:11 pm

Oh, Bernie…. (we will see if this gets deleted shortly)

I like it. Nobody called anybody a liar, a fool, an amoral troubadour, a concubine (I don’t know where that string came from, but I just love my nighttime mind), and nobody has to threaten a lawsuit. Nobody won anything yet, but, hey, least they been tryin’.

      Must not be RWNJ tweets.

  14. February 18, 2016 at 11:28 pm

Ouch….more Bernie statements the media will gloss over while putting a microscope on HRC e-mails, transcripts, etc….

Some of this stuff cheapens discussion of the important topics, in my opinion, no matter who made the original comment. The tit-for-tat stuff (no pun intended, honorary or not) could maybe take a little break on our side. But I guess with twitter around, that ain’t gonna happen.

(Relates to the photo of the King family visit to the Oval Office) (and goodnight, TODville)

    ***

    The three generations came by
Saw the office where dad and grandfather met
With the leader of his time.
Saw his likeness on the table
Carved from memory and placed now for
Daily inspiration by the leader of this time.
The dreams he had for them
For the man who holds the office now
For so many others not present
    The words he said
About the content of their characters
All drift through the portal over their heads
    In loving embrace to all
In loving recognition of their visit.
The king and his kings and queens
His dreams, their dreams, our dreams
    In this historic White House
    Preserved
    Forevermore.
Don’t think he doesn’t see them there
Don’t think he doesn’t feel their pride
He was the father of this family
    This was his dream.

I wish I didn’t have to see all the racism so openly on display in the US today. Do these people think they are making friends around the world as they peddle their hate to the trash that votes for them. No wonder Trump wants the mighty army – the numbers won’t stack up when those who are attacked with racism decide they have had enough.

Going to leave this here for all of us… as a just in case we need it: http://cbiftrumpwins.com/#end

    Welcome

Hi Americans! Donald Trump may become the President of your country! If that happens, and you decide to get the hell out of there, might I suggest moving to Cape Breton Island
Don’t wait until Donald Trump is elected president to find somewhere else to live! Start now, that way, on election day, you just hop on a bus to start your new life in Cape Breton, where women are legally able to choose an abortion, Muslim people can roam freely, and the only ‘walls’ are holding up the roofs of our extremely affordable houses.

We have a dedicated team of volunteers ready to get the ball rolling, so get in touch today!

In Cape Breton, we value diversity! Here, you can hear a number of other languages, like French and Mi’kmaq, even Gaelic! But everybody also speaks English, just like you

Theres more, thought we’d all appreciate this πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

good early Friday morning TOD ~ happy day to us all!
