That guy at the refuge in Oregon has been arrested, others too, and one is dead. WTG FBI, just wish you had arrested Cliven Bundy for not paying his fees a long time ago. Maybe this wouldn’t have happened.

The goal has always been to avoid conflict and save lives. I prefer not to blame the police, the FBI or anyone else for the stupid of these people

Thanks, FBI! This festering sore was about to become sepsis. I’ll await further word before commenting again, but I’m glad there were arrests!

    from BBC:

‘ Other members of the group were reportedly still at the refuge, where the FBI was setting up a perimeter.

FBI officials said in a statement that Mr Bundy, 40, was arrested in a traffic stop on Highway 395 along with his brother Ryan Bundy, 43, Bryan Cavalier, 44, Shawna Cox, 59, and Ryan Walen Payne, 32.

Two other activists connected to the group, Joseph Donald O’Shaughnessy, 45, and Peter Santilli, 50, were later arrested, separately, in Burns, Oregon.

Each of the defendants faces a charge of conspiracy to impede officers of the United States from discharging their official duties through the use of force, intimidation, or threats, the FBI said. ‘

WTF! I close my eyes for two goddamn minutes and wake up to find out Bundy and his gang of assholes were arrested by the FBI and local law enforcement. Can someone please tell President Obama to do shit like this during normal business hours so that maybe someone like me that goes to bed early can maybe watch it live on t.v., I mean really! He pulled that same shit on me with the bin laden deal, middle of the night. Who does things like this in the middle of the night? Now I can’t go back to sleep, thanks Obama.

The most successful military events start on the weekend or in the middle of the night. This one seems to have been well planned – while the “militia” were planning to go to a meeting and demand they be given government resources. Guess they got those resources – just not the ones they were wanting.

With less than a week to go before Iowa, the GOP’s blame game has already begun.

OMG! I’m watching the Andy Murray/David Ferrer match on ESPN2 and this really disgusting Denorex shampoo commercial. I will not post that insulting, misogynistic crap here (it’s on YouTube if you must see), but I’m pretty sure the folks at Denorex are definitely going for the Trump Troglodyte demographic. Ugh!

Blue tarp mumbly rant guy said a couple weeks ago he’d rather die than be arrested. Guess he wasn’t kidding. Sad for his family. Saw an article that he was 55 yrs old and has 11 kids. Doesn’t seem like any of them bothered to try talking him down though.

I’m glad to see the FBI is setting up a perimeter finally at the Malheur site. They may be reluctant to storm the remaining terrorists. One of them brought his two young daughters there, presumably to use as human shields against the feds.

I am such a Raonic fan – but Momfils is also a great guy – 2 old fashioned good guy tennis players. And Raonic won – but not without some brilliance from Monfils.

Now I just want Raonic to wipe the court with Murray.

So I’m not in the US and really don’t understand why Trump refuses to answer questions and/or debate – with NO comeback from the media – other than to cry & beg him to do something

BUT I think I would watch a GOP debate minus trump. Might actually hear some policy rather than the b.s. as to why Trump is so popular and his hits on other candidates. He really does seem scared of Megan Kelly & her seriously easy to answer questions – so much like Palin and Katie Couric. Fox would be smart to point to the similarities – then again – Fox isn’t that smart.

I’m gonna sort of watch cause I want to boost their ratings. I haven’t had any tv in my house on that channel in several years (election night 2012). In fact I won’t even watch that station on the rare occasion that PBO has been interviewed by them. That’s how much I loath them. I plan on making an exception tonight. I just want to burst that narcissists ego. Can you imagine that fool being the leader of the US? The fact that some Republicans and so-called Christian leaders are lining up behind him in support of his candidacy is incredible to me.

I’m gonna put it on in the spare bedroom shut the door and go watch something else in the family room. I can’t stomach actually watching it but I’ll have at least one tv with it on in the house just for the ratings. Now, I just have to go figure out how to unblock that channel 😯

Read somewhere that he went to church – wonder the roof didn’t fall in – and when asked he said religion meant “a lot” to him. I don’t see alot of difference to the Goldwater campaign – except that Goldwater was saner.

    • January 27, 2016 at 8:38 pm

I would be surprised if there was a lot of serious policy talk. They don’t have any serious policies to talk about. They are post policy now.
