The urges new sanction part of Hilary’s praise falls into wanting best poll numbers or wanting it both ways. PBO has a vision and keeps doing everything to forward his vision. Hillary has a platform she feels will get her enough votes to win, but will change it as needed not risking losing votes IMO.

It’s happened again…like so many times during the Obama era. Just when I get down about where things seem to be going in this country, we learn about the work President Obama and Secretary Kerry have been doing to negotiate the release of prisoners in Iran (check out that link for some fascinating details).
This kind of thing has happened so often that when I get discouraged, I actually hear a little voice inside my head saying, “hold on…something good is going to happen soon to reignite your hope.” That is President Obama’s legacy at work in my brain.
So that piece of crap Donald Trump said that he is glad the prisoners are free, but they should not have been held captive for so so long. Trump need to shut his racists big mouth.
Goes to show Donald Trump and the rest of the GOP have the wrong temperment to be President. They do not have the patience or understanding necessary to use diplomacy over hot headed reactive physical warlike responses. Remember when BHO was campaigning against HRC saying he was right for the job as he had the necessary temperment for the presidency? Proven!

Some time ago we learned that PBO’s favorite TV show this year was The Knick. I said I’d taped it and when I’ve seen it i would comment.
So, here goes.
My guess is that the President loved this show because it celebrates Science. Science as an expression of human curiosity and creativity.
It is set in NYC back around 1920 in a hospital, the Knickerbocker, which gives the show its name. Medicine was pretty primitive then.
