Sassy Sadie got new bandanas and some grooming products:) Nose butter, paw butter, boo boo butter:) And she’s already devoured her bully sticks that I get for her…she was soooooo well behaved on Christmas:) I put the tree outside in our front courtyard because I was afraid of how she’d be with the ornaments and the tree….I DO have pics but have no idea how to post them here…I know how to text them so if you’d like to send me a quick email with your cell # I’ll text them to you:) Then we can chat from time to time, too:)

As storms once again battered the state of Alabama over Christmas, Republican Gov. Robert Bentley moved to divert funding from the 2010 BP oil spill recovery effort to finance the renovation of a second Governor’s mansion on the Gulf Coast.
Yet that beachside mansion, which Alabama governors beginning with famed segregationist George Wallace have enjoyed, was not damaged by the BP oil spill. It was damaged more than two decades earlier by Hurricane Danny, and has sat empty ever since.
While Alabama’s oyster industry and coastal communities continue to suffer from the effects of the massive Deepwater Horizon oil well blowout, the repairs to the governors’ mansion are estimated to cost between $1.5 million and $1.8 million. Though Bentley says he will stay there only “on occasion,” the administration said the property would be “primarily” used to wine and dine corporate executives considering the state for investment.
While the funding comes from a grant, not taxpayer money, the state plans to divert other BP settlement dollars to cover the state’s General Fund shortfalls. Bentley has been widely criticized for prioritizing the far-flung beachfront property at a time when the state is struggling to provide basic services to its residents.

Seriously. I truly detest these people…I use the term “people” very loosely. They are cretins.
I live just outside of Austin Texas and in a few days Texas will allow open carry, this bothers me to my core. Now wherever I go some asshole can walk into any goddamn restaurant or any store or any movie theater with a rifle strapped to his ass.
I mean really, why do you NEED a gun, I know its in the constitution but why do I have to start looking over my shoulder. I mean really, is your schlong that small that you need to walk around with a rifle strapped to your backside?
It already happens around here. You must always assume that everyone has a gun. It’s awful.

Don, when we were at the movies after all the previews, commercials and telling us to shut our cellphones off, they flashed real fast, a warning to watch for suspicious acting people and be mindful of all the exits, now enjoy your movie.
