Not everyone is celebrating at the pump, however. Lingering problems surrounding a Torrance, Calif., refinery, which suffered an explosion in February, and problems at other regional facilities have seen prices creeping higher in California and other western states…

Ralph Gants, chief justice of the Massachusetts Supreme Court, delivered a powerful message rebuking the right’s attack on Muslim rights, led by Republican presidential front runner.

Speaking at the Islamic Society of Boston Cultural Center, that state’s largest mosque on Friday following afternoon prayer, Justice Gants told those listening that while Muslims are going through a difficult time in America, they are not alone:

I’m one of those weird people who often stay back and read the movie credits in the theater just to give props to and oogle at the enormous list of people who did the work. I let out a little squeal when, to my complete surprise, I read that Lin-Manuel Miranda, creator of the musical Hamilton, wrote two songs for the cantina scene in The Force Awakens. I found this video on Twitter with some background about it from The Force Awakens , JJ Abrams. So cool! 😎

I was in the grocery store the other day. They were selling fireworks. I muttered outloud.. “They sell fireworks at Christmas??!!THAT’S stupid!” Well, this woman overheard me talking to myself and chimed in and informed me that they were for New Year’s Eve. Sorry. That’s screwed up.

I was used to that when I lived in Orlando – they set off fireworks on New Year’s Eve at the theme parks. Looked pretty from a distance, but they also set them off every other week, so they kinda lost their luster. 🙂

That was one of the very first things Jan Brewer did when she became Gov after Janet Napolitano went to DC…made fireworks easier to get because..we should ALL be free to blow our hands off or put out an eye! Idiot that she is…

Yes, I agree the amateur fireworks are dangerous, if the wrong batch gets in the wrong hands. And how many little kids get hurt each year just by standing nearby?

One presidential candidate from each party has pledged to keep SS and Medicare as they are, including Not raising age eligibility.
Who can guess which (D) and which (R) have been explicit on these matters?
BBL as i am going to check my facts again and will make corrections if i have it wrong.

    • 134 jacquelineoboomer
      December 22, 2015 at 2:35 pm

A wild guess would be Martin O’Malley and John Kasich. I guess I should know, but I have no idea, actually.

    • 135 Vicki
      December 22, 2015 at 2:46 pm

      Ignore the above question.
Here is the interesting fact I wanted to share:

Donald Trump has been absolute and clear that he will not touch either Medicare or SS and that includes keeping the age eligibility as it is.
Apart from racism, Trump is winning favor by protecting these social programs.
      Unlike the establishment GOP.
His supporters hear economic security for themselves while discriminating against everybody else. Winning!!!

The Donald is saying, “What is yours is yours. You worked for it and deserve it. I will make sure it is safe for you. ”
This is why he will beat every (R) who opposes him.

When a (D) says the same thing it doesn’t resonate as well with racists because they want what is theirs, but don’t want others to share in good things, too.
