I have a feeling that when PBO leaves office, he has big plans for Kamala’s political future.
She is great. I’m just mad at her for taking a very strong stand against TPP. —–> unions.

Posting these tweets to provide update on today’s WH press briefing:
Despite the fact that I *know* MSM is GOP propaganda, CBS really is the worst offender IMO. Only uninformed people are not aware of Fox “News” RWNJ slant, but to many GenX and Boomers, CBS is the reliable Walter Cronkite network.
Egregious example from today (questions were pretty much limited to KXL, Russian Metrojet Egypt plane crash and Bibi’s visit on Monday). @margbrennan really seemed to imply that PBO overstepped his authority to “politicize” KXL announcement.
Gah.
I don’t even feel sorry for Kentucky. They were stupid to vote this guy in.
I understand how you feel J4O, but then I think, what if an epidemic breaks out in Kentucky and spreads. What if someone from Kentucky comes to Disneyland here in Calif with the Whooping Cough…
How do we cure Stupid??????
Yep. Double-edged sword. Their stupidity affects us all.

LOL. You’re welcome, Jazziz2. 🙂
I think Ben Carson was starting to believe all the hype about him being the GOP nominee, let me remind Carson of something he might have forgotten, he is black. There are to many racists in the Republican Party and they will not vote for Carson. He will not be the Tea Republican Party nominee.
annieb, he was the token negro that they played with just like they did Herman Cain and Allen West. Now that ole stoopid is believing the hype, they will pull that rug out from under him in a nanosecond.
All he can do now is take the money he’s accumulated and shut up
The difference is that Herman Cain knew the role he was playing, and he didn’t have a problem playing that role. You don’t hear much from Herman Cain these days because he knew when to exit the stage, and now he’s sitting pretty somewhere with a well paying radio gig that gives him the opportunity to never be wrong about anything he says.
😀 “well paying radio gig that gives him the opportunity to never be wrong about anything he says.”
There is no way that Ben Carson kind of sort of thought he was given a “scholarship” to West Point. My twin sons are each West Point engineering graduates (yes I am a proud mama). First of all there is no such thing as a “scholarship” to West Point. You receive an appointment to the Academy. They cover all of your school and housing expenses because you work your tail off for four years while going through some of the most intensive training any young person could possibly be exposed too. Then after graduation you are obligated to give them another 4 years in the military.
The US Military Academy’s appointments can be made several ways. You have to receive a nomination via your Congressman, your Senators or the Vice President or be sons and daughters of career military personnel. I think that the Sec. of the Army can make nominations as well. Even after the nomination process you have to have the grades and SAT scores to substantiate admission. Once you pass those hurdles you get your appointment to the Academy and a beautiful bound certificate is sent stipulating the appointment. So he writes a book and says he was given a “scholarship” and he is just now being questioned about it. 😯
People can make money off of anything!
He’s a flim-flam artist with an evangelical base, nothing more.
You know, I wonder how many military folks, like MOI, who know the process, read Gifted Hands and didn’t even have the scholarship bit register…
sort of makes you wonder about that medical degree…..
Thanks very much for that detailed explanation. And BRAVO BRAVO BRAVO to your incredible twins who worked hard to be nominated and finish with flying colors.
Thank You meta.
Thanks for this Donna, and congrats on your sons’ accomplishments! You have every right to be very proud and feel free to shout it from the rooftops.
Thank You FoxfireTX

Yes, VC we are very happy, so much so that we got about 6 inches already and they are making more snow and opening one of the Ski Resorts this weekend.
😯 Ski resort! /shudder/ Please let’s not reinforce the snow idea so early /shudder/; it’s only the beginning of November (I was out yesterday and today in my t-shirt – no coat in sight)!
A co-worker of mine has a retired next door neighbor who volunteers at the White House a couple of days a week. He has told me many stories about her adventures there. Today he came to me and said that I was the only person who loves FLOTUS and POTUS and has never asked him to bother his neighbor for anything regarding the President and First Family. So when he told her about me she sent me these:
I will cherish them all the days of my life!!! ❤ ❤ ❤
I just had an eye exam and my eyes are still dilated and I can’t see a thing BUT those look like chocolate KISSES from President Obama’s WHITE HOUSE. And if that’s true, well, then, Donna, I share your sentiment. WOOOOOT!!

If you missed President Obama give a fundraising speech at a performance of Hamilton in NYC this last week, then you MUST SEE it. Really, you MUST. It’s one of his BEST speeches and offers a GRAND retrospective of what he’s accomplished as well as his values and goals in his presidency. It’s PHENOMENAL.
http://www.msnbc.com/shift/watch/live-obama-delivers-remarks-at-broadway-show-557276739678
I have watched that speech at least 20 times. When he goes off script in that speech and just starts talking it felt like he was just sitting in my living-room having a regular conversation with me. He is Simply The Best
OMG, I just can’t get enough of this speech, this moment. And TBH, it makes me so incredibly hopeful for what he’s going to do when he leaves office. He sounds so incredibly energetic; you can hear it and feel it and taste it. Because he’s had a truly phenomenal tenure and he’s seen the WORLD and then some and he still has the SAME VOICE. He still has that North Star. And he’s still asking us to stand with him to get things done. I just love him and FLOTUS DEARLY.
It’s like he’s talking with a bunch of his closes friends. 🙂
I’m glad he’s touting his accomplishments!
He’s giving us this incredibly fruitful narrative and he’s also just speaking to us quite intimately about our future – together. He has such a unique voice, such a commanding knowledge of WHAT IS, I feel like I did in 2008, ready to join forces with him ANEW.
Thank you for posting this link again. I somehow missed seeing it, and it is indeed extraordinary! Even compared to the many amazing and memorable speeches President Obama has delivered, this one just gets right to the heart of things, and in such a personal, friendly way. My husband and I just took a mid-day break to watch and enjoy. Now, to share!
YES, DO share!! It’s such a great overview of what he’s done, who he is. And his voice is so compelling – sometimes forceful, sometimes relaxed, always true to himself.
We’re going to do this.
Aside from whether or not you hate, dislike, can’t stand or despise Hillary this is a pretty neat story for this young college graduate: 😉
Logan Anderson, 22: Digital Content and Creative Strategist
Logan joined the campaign three days after graduating from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, a story that’s the stuff of dreams for recent college graduates.
It all started with the tweet of Clinton’s campaign symbol crafted onto her mortarboard while decked in her purple and yellow gown on graduation day on May 14.
Upon discovering that the campaign retweeted the photo, she took the initiative to, well, ask for a job. The native of Houston, Texas graduated with a bachelor’s degree in mass communications and minor in political science.
It worked. She graduated on Thursday, participated in a video interview the next day, and arrived in New York City in time to start work on Monday. True story.
