Almost feel sorry for jebby, for being trounced by the likes of grump and parson, then he opens his mouth again. On the topic of his favorite superhero, he says Supergirl is hot–creepy for an old guy. Then he can’t resist putting in a plug for capitalism– in case someone, anyone, thought for a minute his Supergirl comment might be cool. Yep, what he really wishes, when he thinks of superheroes, is to own Marvel. None of this wimpy helping people stuff.

Looks the hurricane itself did not much damage but the aftermath might.

Hurricane Patricia, the strongest on record, has made landfall in Jalisco state in western Mexico, bringing destructive winds and rain.

Authorities said the storm was “potentially catastrophic”, but major damage appeared to have been avoided.

The US National Hurricane Center said the hurricane hit as a Category Five storm – the highest classification.

But it has since weakened to a Category Four, and will be downgraded to a tropical storm in the coming hours.

The Centre said “life-threatening flash floods and mudslides” were now likely in rural areas.

Thanks so much. Absolutely no live coverage on cable teevee that I’ve seen. Only got bits and pieces of info from twitter. God bless everyone in the path, and in the aftermath.

Just watched the interview that I DVRd with Martin O’Malley on Seth Meyer’s show. I liked what he had to say.

Plus, there was this. Granted, he’s no PBO, but still…. 🙂

Good evening TOD. Must admit I feel like I am wandering in the wilderness since Joe decided not to run. I had pretty much decided to vote for MOM in the primary but am concerned about what I’very read during his tenure in Baltimore and how much the residents blame him for the state of the city. It was a relief to see PBO’s Grumpy Cat trolling for some levity. BTW, it was interesting to see a quote from a Jeb fundraiser saying he was watching a death spiral and expected him to be out of the race in 60 days.

Hope everyone has a great weekend. I will be focusing on my 8 year old granddaughter’s birthday rather than politics!

So many of us are feeling the same way, FoxfireTX. Good plan to try to take your mind off of politics, especially with the dear granddaughter’s birthday to celebrate! Enjoy.

Uh-oh. Is the much-lauded Susan Martinez governorship unravelling? No more whispers of a Vice Presidency lately. (Of course your party has to have a hope of the presidency for this to matter)
