Thanks for highlighting this NW 🙂 >^..^<

PBO has become an expert at how to make something go viral, how to make news and change the conversation via the internet. He understands how most of the MSM (tired phrase, but haven't thought of a better one) no longer does the work of reporting, but just waits for clickbait to post, so he provides it for them. This is the shit they love. Now pics of every Repub making a Grumpy Cat face will be trending on everything and will make it to the evening news and late night shows as well. He is handing the DNC a giftwrapped talking point. If they choose, like Bernie Sanders, to go all gloom and doom and run against his successes, they become Grumpy Cat too. If they run on this admin's accomplishments, they reap the "anti-Grumpy Cat" media benefits.

    Dems better recognize!

NW, I don’t know if you have the ability to make other excerpts from his remarks today, but at around the 11:00 min mark in the Cspan video he gives another hilarious example of how the Repugs are fighting climate change tooth and nail and how ridiculous/crazy they are. He compares it to going to see 100 doctors and 99 out of the 100 say you are really sick, you have high cholesterol. And then you say no those 99 doctors are crazy and are part of some wild eyed socialist plot to keep me from eating cheese! Hysterical! 😆 😆 😆

Caught a few minutes of All In With Chris Hayes. Guy reviewed Ben Carson’s book. If you get a chance to watch, I’d recommend it for the sheer hilarity.

It was quite humorous, and we need a little humor (to cut off the circus train that is the Republican party!).

No idea. Sounds goofy to me! But – hey – I don’t have a teevee show, either. (Maybe it means if you’re “All In,” you’re an inner. So, turns out I am not one.)

Why does ANYONE support the GOP

Donald Trump can’t handle a debate longer than 2 hours
Paul Ryan works a 40 hour week and the job of Speaker will not interfere with that
Hillary Clinton is grilled for 11 hours – ends with her looking great and the RWNJs wiped out

  29. 88 99ts
    October 23, 2015 at 9:10 pm

West Virginia – how did it ever turn away from its roots to support this?

    http://www.motherjones.com/politics/2015/09/blankenship-trial-king-coal-west-virginia

“Blankenship crushed the mine workers union that was baptized in his backyard. Voluminous court records and government investigations show that he presided over a company that padded its profits by running some of the most dangerous workplaces in the country. Massey polluted the waterways that had sustained Blankenship’s forebears, rained coal dust on the schoolyards where his miners’ children played, and subjected the men he grew up with in southern West Virginia to unsafe working conditions.”

    As Pierce says

It’s further proof that you have to be soft in the head to want the American government to “run like a business.” Blankenship’s tenure at Massey proves that you don’t even want a business to be run like an American business.

All this miners are ANGRY at PBO’s EPA for killing their coal jobs. These people don’t care about living, just working until it kills everyone in their family and the entire town.

I’m practically “all cried out” this week, but should have warned you!

        • 101 jacquelineoboomer
          October 24, 2015 at 1:11 am

BTW, the “all cried out” part refers to Joe’s not running. But we’ve got another 15 months of Obama-Biden, so that’ll work!

          • October 24, 2015 at 11:46 pm

Girl, I’m not. 8 years was NOT enough to break the cycle of the old status quo; me need another 4 – 8 years! Joe was our only hope of continuing and building upon PBO’s legacy of hope and change.

              October 24, 2015 at 11:53 pm

My rallying cry – to my own brain – isn’t working, either. You are so right, of course. I’m sick about it. Damn heartbroken. Every Democrat other than PBO and Joe are “lesser beings,” and I’m not going for anybody in particular’s jugular with that. They’re just all lesser beings.

              Now what?

              • October 25, 2015 at 10:58 am

I really don’t know. Until Obama/Biden, I was always voting against someone — choosing the lesser of evils. The experience of actually voting FOR a candidate was so fulfilling. It breaks my heart that we are returning to the status quo of politics as usual. Seems like Dems have just been marking time since November 6, 2012.

I don’t have any answers – I’m just glad I have “company” going through all t his, because I feel the same way – as do many others.

Wow, J’OB! Thank you so much for sharing this story. It’s very sad that most Americans, of all ethnic groups, know very little about the heroism and accomplishments of African Americans.

    • October 24, 2015 at 6:22 am

Hi there Alycee! As always, you’ve been on a roll today dropping all this neglected history of African American excellence! All I can say is THANK YOU! I am sharing all your finds with family and friends.
