catching up on some twitter action tonight, and happy to see some obamabots taking fake liberals such as john nichols to task for their bizarre “white”washing of someone like justin trudeau (who seems great by the way!), yet have just spent years denigrating the most liberal president in many generations – president obama. really wondering what the role of “the nation” magazine is anymore. used to read it a lot, but between katrina vandashitshovel, her putin-loving husband, and libertarian-appeasing john nichols and others, i’ve started to wonder if they’re now some dark psy-ops outfit. was dismayed seeing these things from john nichols blindly promoting nut jobs rand/ron paul: https://www.thenation.com/article/rand-paul-made-some-of-the-few-sensible-points-of-the-whole-debate/
…all the while holding president barack hussein obama to an impossible standard and giving him no credit for the historic obstacles he has overcome along the way. ass clowns such as nichols and his “nation” friends have been co-opting what it means to be a liberal for far too long, and it’s great seeing them get called out on their racism when they fawn over someone like justin trudeau within 1 day, after years of diminishing president obama’s historic liberal accomplishments. forward!
i’m really hoping the best for justin trudeau, and he does seem very much cut from the same cloth as president obama, where they want progress made first and foremost, even if that might mean some non-perfect compromise from time to time. time will tell.
