I am blown away. As I said in my post on the last thread, I had all but written off Warren as playing the Bernie Sanders card. This speech was full of truths not usually put forth by mainstream politicians. And thank you for the link so I could read in its entirety. It is even better than I first judged from the snippets I read in tweets earlier.
I am now more open to her as a VP candidate and very happy to see someone like her speaking truth. This is what Sanders should have and didn’t talk about from the beginning.

My son came home weeks back. I was joking with him and I said, so who’s the girl? He said, no one right now. He said he was talking to this girl, a cheerleader. He stated that he stopped, because she told him he was “too soft.” I said what does that mean? He said she wanted him to call her the B word and so forth. He said to me and “I am not that guy.”
He said he stopped talking to her. She continues to text him, but not to be rude, he responds with one word answers, etc.
I’m so proud of your son! You did a stellar job raising a gentleman.
