He has been on my mind and in my heart all week, with so much going on and the Pope, with PBO, VPB, energy to bring us all together has been powerful this week. He is a dedicated spiritual leader and healer, 80 years old, working and teaching non-stop all over the world. We all know he may well be the very last Dalai Lama, as life in Tibet has been so devastated by the Chinese occupation. This Dalai Lama has been a very strong and effective teacher. He will need and appreciate our prayers mindful thoughts over and around him now. _/|\_

September has gone by in a blur. Has been a rather rough month for me; cancelled my trip to Barbados due to starting a new medical treatment protocol; one of my older paternal brothers died on September 10th; and I’ve been dealing with my Mom being stressed out due to chairing today’s church anniversary.
Today’s anniversary service was wonderful, church was SRO (approx 250); church membership has dwindled to 46 members. It was great seeing some folks that I’d not seen in ages.
Request TOD family send prayers and positive vibes my way. Here’s hoping that I start seeing great improvement on the medical front.

(The anchor on EWTN said that the Pope and VP Biden met privately before he arrived at the airport. Fingers crossed that “somebody” was asking for prayers for “somebody’s” run for President. A woman can dream!)

No. Ford was a senator and Bush ’41 did two terms in the House.
However, he is the first since Kennedy to be elected DIRECTLY from congress.

The harshness and inhumanity of seeing so many people locked away (and so many families who have lost them, for all intents and purposes) just crushes my soul. And the fact some are overcharged and/or innocent based on racism and other factors …
I don’t know what our overarching response to serious crime and guilty persons should be, either, but this reality ain’t it for me.
I hear you. Normally I can’t watch incarceration, violence or horror. However, because this a) has to do with PBO and b) is part of a serious attempt to start righting the wrongs, I think I might have been able to steel myself. Plus, having ‘met’ Bryan Stevenson and made myself read his book [Just Mercy] on the subject, I am anxious to see how the revamping of the system unfurls.
