          HF, Thank you!
          Standing ovation for our PBO.

Every Democrat who claims to be who they say are should be dancing in the street with all of this good news.
If not, as far as I am concerned they can go to hell!
(Except for Cory Booker, you can go climb a tree, save another cat and stay there)
I am going to celebrate all of this good news with a box of my favorite chocolates tonight.
Damn shame how many people did not come out to vote on 9/10 in my district.
This man has worked his ass off to clean up the mess GOP and some traitors who say they are Dems while perpetrating frauds Liberals only when it feels right to bash this Black man(in his face).
I am done with all of them.
I am excited that PBO is moving on to another level of greatness!

I hope that dumb statement from Ben Carson and others are found to dissuade those that might vote for him from doing so due to his soft spoken demeanor and his medical successes as a doctor.

Ben Carson made that statement merely for effect. Read about his early life and you’ll see that he “clearly” knows about racism because of his mother’s background, rural Georgia. Don’t piss on my shoes and tell me it’s raining, I know better!

Carson was born in Detroit, Michigan, the son of Sonya (née Copeland) and Robert Solomon Carson, a Seventh-day Adventist minister.[3] Both his parents came from rural Georgia.[3] A DNA test on the television series African American Lives showed that his ancestry is 20% European and 80% African, including ancestors within the Makua people.[4] His parents divorced when he was eight, and he and his ten-year-old brother Curtis were raised by their mother.[5]

*AND WE’RE NOT DONE.* Hear that?

    • September 15, 2015 at 7:37 pm

I truly believe that he has so much more to do once he leaves office.
“And we’re not done” means VP Biden is Ready. Willing. Able.
To shut down, shut up Trump.

via bj poster david koch (whom their fp’er anne laurie falsely accuses of being a rw troll, while giving a total pass to self-declared rw trolls there, so much for her judgment)

In late 2014, GOP leaders in Florida were pretty certain of a couple of things: Marco Rubio would never run for president if his mentor, Jeb Bush, did; and if either ran, he would be a lock to win Florida’s Republican presidential primary.

That’s why, after Bush signaled he was likely to run, Republican legislative leaders set the 2016 Florida primary for March 15 — and made the primary winner-take-all, rather than a primary in which several candidates could divide the state’s 100 or so delegates proportionally. It was a gift to Bush, to ensure he could count on winning a big pile of delegates in case he did not dominate earlier contests.

“Can we get that gift back?” Republican political consultant Ana Navarro, a zealous Bush advocate and ubiquitous TV pundit, quipped Thursday night while speaking at the Poynter Institute for Media Studies in St. Petersburg.

Contrary to the old conventional wisdom, Rubio did get into the race and another giant force emerged to threaten everybody’s plans. His name is Donald Trump, and Navarro acknowledged her fear that Trump could win Florida’s primary.

Rubio and Bush may well cannibalize one another’s votes, she said, leaving Trump to scoop up a winning plurality of antiestablishment votes.

Thank you, Nerdy for giving the front page over entirely to POTUS’ tweets. What POTUS has done is in all areas is massive and unprecedented.

LDS up thread said what I think, too.
The reason VP Biden Must run is because there is nobody now running on the astonishing comprehensive success of the past 61/2 years.

Look at what The Obama Administration has done!

If you listen to all the current candidates–(D) (I) and (R) their stances are petulant and complainy about how bad government is and how they will fix everything.
    WTF??!!??!!
Obamacare doesn’t need to be redone right now, for instance.

VP Biden has said someone has to run on their great record and he is right.

That is why he must run. Or let the current candidates pretend to re-invent the wheel.

    • September 15, 2015 at 8:21 pm

I hope VP Joe is inspired and moved by the Pope in a personal way, to ease his suffering. I say that not as a political wish but as a humane one. He is a devout Catholic and I’m hoping it will be a soothing moment for him and his family.

THIS is how you tout success and give proper honor to your President:

    • September 15, 2015 at 8:44 pm

Viewed historically, Obama has set out to correct past foreign policy excesses and disasters, largely the product of imperial overreach, that can be traced to several generations of American leaders bent on the exercise of unilateral power. Within the spectrum of American state power, he has slowly shifted from the coercion of war, occupation, torture, and other forms of unilateral military action toward the more cooperative realm of trade, diplomacy, and mutual security — all in search of a new version of American supremacy.

      Excellent Piece…worth reading

      Mr. Bobfr, thank you!
Sleep is not going well so I decided to come here and catch up….again.
Every time I turn around PBO is kicking so much GOP ass, it is making my head explode.
I can only imagine what is is doing to them.
For one thing it is spewing out the ugly pathetic vile hatred souls who they are.
The light has been shown and they are just about ready to devour each other.
All the attempts to discredit this brilliant mind and caring soul of our President has failed them, there is nothing left to do but turn on each other. And turn they will……
I had to go back up thread and reread that our President has reduced the “annual federal budget deficit to 70 percent.”
While our President will “Just Keep On Pushing.”
I firmly believe there is no way PBO will allow the GOP rags to come in and undo all of this hard work.
Something is exciting is about to happen and I AM ALL IN!

Yes. And grown men were having an orgasm at the incoherent statements. The speech, dubbed to be one of foreign policy, was the same nonsense that attacked both POTUS and the clowns of the GOP candidate field. But, rest assured, he will make America great again.

      • 86 No Child Left Behind
        September 15, 2015 at 9:55 pm

Nothing happened to it because it didn’t exist. It was the same verbiage given in front of many angry (mostly white -99%) people who would love to go to war against their party, the US government and the world.

When Trump said that he would build the wall on the Mexican border the first day, you could hear people enjoying sexual pleasure and groaning. It’s becoming scary… for the simple reason that there is only one THE DONALD but thousands if not millions or these deranged, angry, racist people walking all over in this country. It’s a reality show you could label WALKING DANGEROUS.

        {Snip}

It’s not particularly noteworthy that a presidential candidate should go to Liberty University, a conservative evangelical college, and deliver a tough critique of President Barack Obama’s record. It is unusual when the critique is delivered by a Democratic candidate who’s challenging Hillary Clinton from the left. Yet that’s what Senator Bernie Sanders did on Monday.

Sanders didn’t mention Obama by name. But he sketched a bleak picture of the country at the tail end of his two terms in the White House. “In my view there is no justice in our country when youth unemployment exists at tragically high levels,” he said. A fifth of children live in poverty, he noted, and the U.S. jails more people than any other country on earth. We have “a rigged economy, designed by the wealthiest people in this country to benefit the wealthiest people in this country at the expense of everybody else,” he said.

    Good evening, TODville!

Thanks again for all the thoughts and prayers for my son … he had his surgery today and is doing very well. The surgeon said it went great. Within a few hours after the operation, my son was sending out a photo of himself sitting up in bed, big happy smile on his face, finger at the ready to push, with the caption, “Pain med button” !!! Of course, he’s still numb in some areas surrounding the procedure, so when that wears off, he’ll be in a bunch more discomfort (hence, the button!), but he’ll get through that, too, I’m sure. We were even laughing tonight about some of the stuff he mentioned.

Laughter truly is the best medicine, in case any of you were still wondering!

And now to catch up on what I missed. Thanks for this post, NW!
