Haven’t head anything about Booker, yet, but I’m thrilled that my senator, Bob Casey, is a yes vote. Constituent pressure does work. There is no reason on this planet why Mikulski and Booker are still holdouts.
Ask yourself who would you rather have dinner with? A drink with? Or any other situation that your mind may be taking you.

My mom’s friend’s cousin went to AK in the 80’s when that pipeline was under construction looking for a husband. She met and married a wonder guy until his death in early 2000’s. I remember Oprah did a show on all the single men in AK and there were lots of AA men there looking for wifes/girlfriends.
It truly galls me that this woman is still receiving her full salary for not doing her job. First hold back her money; then ask her to vacate her office so a functioning clerk can take her place; then charge her for the space she takes up if she continues to come into the office.
This lady got some nerve denying people the right to get married when she already got the chance three times. BTW isn’t divorce a sin in her Bible? She said the decision is heaven or hell for her. We are all sinners, saved by grace. Let the people get married to each other or a broomstick, what do you care?
I might actually go trekking ( says she who left a Girl Scout camp out to drive for hours until she found a Holiday Inn with a vacancy) if I could go with PBO.
