This is an excellent compilation of where the Iran deal stands with Senators and representatives. Easy to find who we need to lean on, particularly from our individual states.

“A woman who was identified as Leigh Anne Woods by WDBJ walked up the podium and took her shirt off as Bedrosian was speaking.

“You have a problem because they perform abortions, look at everything else they do, they save lives!” Woods said.

“It’s more than birth control,” she insisted. “It’s more than abortion. They save lives.”

Woods told WDBJ that she wanted to show the county supervisor the scars from the mastectomy she had just weeks earlier, and she credited Planned Parenthood for saving her life.” Video at link:

Man. Ken Griffey Jr. is not aging well. AND he’s in a Macklemore video.

With the exception of Kareem, I’ve yet to see an athlete who didn’t put on a few pounds after they retired. Oh wait, I saw Dominique Wilkins in a commercial and he looked pretty good.

But whatever Ken Griffey Jr. looks like, his is a good man and a great person.

Oh, we have a Ken Griffey Jr rookie card. It’s in good, not excellent condition, wonder if it’s worth anything, maybe I could finally retire? Just a thought..

Identity of Baseball Stealing Woman Revealed…

“The announcer on TV said what I did was ‘beyond wrong’ but there is nothing wrong with a kid learning that life is about competition and learning to take the hard knocks,” Brashkowitz said from her home in New York City where she works as — get this — a child psychologist of all things.

“I was on a cross-country vacation with my life companion Judy, and we decided to go to a baseball game. I even bought a special outfit at Nordstrom — white shirt with white pants and a huge leather belt — I looked great and I deserved to be on TV. I deserved that ball too. That little kid will have a lot of chances in life. Sometimes she will screw up and sometimes she will succeed. That’s the way life goes for everybody. So get over it!”

Brashkowitz is now heading back to her native Quebec since she feels that her life has become unlivable since she snatched the ball from that poor little girl. She is being drummed out of her job and shunned in her community.

“I didn’t even know the kid was there. I didn’t even see her, but what difference should that make? I win! That is what I do! In the long run the kid will get on TV shows and whatever but I will always be seen as an evil woman with a big ugly belt. Yeah, that’s what the guy on the local news said about me. He said I had an ugly belt. Can you imagine saying that about a belt I bought for $99.00 and that was with 40% off. How could it be ugly?

“I can’t take it anymore in this f****g country and I don’t care what anyone thinks of me or my hair or how out of style they say I looked or that my ass was big and flat like they say. Yeah, let’s see you live with those kinds of insults and see how long you can take it. And all this because I beat out a little brat for a baseball. Give me a break!”

Grennele Brashskowitz is a child psychologist in private practice with four other clinicians. So far all of the staff has walked out and the partners are in the process of buying her out of the business.

The father of Alison Parker, one of two journalists killed live on air, has appealed to US President Barack Obama to push through tougher gun laws.

“You need to do this… I will help you do this and the press is with you on this because they just lost one of their own,” Andy Parker told the BBC.

He’s grieving, so I will cut him a mile of slack. But Jesus, has he not been paying attention to what PBO has been trying to do until it affected him? Does he not remember how 26 kids were slaughtered and nothing was done by our feckless Congress? He’s not the fucking Magic Negro everyone thinks he is! He’s a President who has a Congress which hates and loathes him! For fuck’s sake!

Our President, once again, delivered a great, uplifting, loving speech, recognizing the progress New Orleans has made, but acknowledging the many problems still to be solved. Bobby Jindal was a jackass to think PBO would give anything less than the perfect remarks to his audience, but I certainly cheered when he referred to “the clean energy revolution.” I hope that line gave Jindal a sick stomach.

“We are our brother’s keeper. We are our sister’s keeper. We are all in this together.”
This is the message President Obama has been delivering, over and over.

Every single candidate now in the 2016 race has many many miles to go before they come anywhere near the Universe our President has been
creating and encouraging us to imagine and build with him.

Also, does PBO not look extra-specially gorgeous in that gray suit and his fresh vacation glowing skin??

{{{{{ oh Meta ❤ }}}}} Just as I was waiting for my 'puter to boot up, I found myself thinking this: How is the world going to survive not having Barack Obama as POTUS? I am not one to dwell on the (not too) distant future, and I know all things must pass, but seriously, HOW IS the world going to survive? And I speak these words knowing in my heart Joe Biden will be a most wonderful and awesome #45.
      That's it. Keep us the Heart. ❤ 🐻 ❤

Believe it was a Bruce Springfield song played at the end of the President’s remarks in New Orleans. But I forget the title. Anybody remember?

Just hearing that song play reminded me of the two best campaigns in history!

I see each of these lovely young girls brings a certain special aura to this very pretty summer dress! Both quite perfect (if I may add, breathtaking!) (no wonder PBO has been able to keep his sanity, going home at night to three most beautiful women, and First Grandma, keeping it all real.)

Yes, these moments will be increasingly bittersweet as 2017 draws near. I so look forward to his SOTU address in Jan, because he has accomplished so much good this year, but I’m also dreading that it will be his final SOTU.

The very Kentuckians who in 2014 were inviting HRC to campaign and raise funds for them while they denied voting for, knowing or mentioning President Obama’s name?
Now they are doing it to HRC……..this FOLKs is why Dems lose elections…….too squishy and too easily spooked.

  44. August 27, 2015 at 7:28 pm

Just saw a tv ad targeting Booker. A young man said an Iran sponsored terrorist group killed his father so Iran can’t be trusted to self report. ( Huh , who said they are self reporting?) Anyway Booker was told to vote against the deal.

  45. August 27, 2015 at 7:33 pm

    In other news (for Don):

Robert Griffin III has just been cleared to play in Saturday’s game. The man didn’t even know he had a concussion, and he’s been cleared. I swear, the NFL figures, “We pay them millions, we can use them until they drop.” That’s a familiar mindset…

  46. August 27, 2015 at 7:34 pm

“Only the following measures can stop Russian aggression:

First of all, the West should make clear that any further escalations—even minor ones—will cost the Kremlin dearly. Strong sanctions packages should be on the table, ready to come into force in case of renewed attacks or shelling. Moscow would think twice before escalating if it knew that such actions would disconnect Russia from SWIFT, and that a possible attack on Mariupol would spark an embargo on Russian oil.

Secondly, the West could deter Russia from constantly transferring military equipment to separatists by compensating Ukraine with defensive weapons deliveries. The Kremlin might lose its eagerness to provide separatists with new battle tanks and APCs if it knew that Kyiv would get an appropriate amount of Javelins to neutralize them. Western counter-battery radars could become a good answer for Russia’s supplies of artillery systems. And so on, until Moscow understands that its military transfers are useless.

Thirdly, the EU must dramatically boost financial aid to Ukraine. One of the main goals of Moscow’s military escalation is to exhaust Ukraine and make it a failed state. Even one-fifth of the EU’s assistance to Greece would help Ukraine overcome its present crisis and deprive the Kremlin of the joy of seeing the Ukrainian economy collapse.

Finally, the West must change its paradigm of helping Ukraine, and begin resorting to the most effective measures instead of the cheapest. France and Germany should remember who blocked Ukraine’s path to NATO common security, and the EU should recall whose oil and gas money allowed Putin to rebuild the army that has killed thousands of Ukrainians.”

    Agree 100% ….
