I’m getting sleepy, but also too “peak” implies wingnuttery is going upward, while wingnut status should be searched for deep in the earth, in my POV, like the rest of the dirt we walk on.

Huh? I dunno, but I suddenly felt compelled to mention that.

Having spit that out, enjoy your weekend, amk. And enjoy that vacation, Obama family! I am outta here zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Life’s too short to read this, but don’t they mean the RedState Rapture vice Gathering? (The only good thing about RedState is they once called Jon Huntsman a betrayer, for plotting to run against President Obama while he worked as one of PBO’s ambassadors.)

In my tweets of outrage about Schumer, I always say that I am a 65 year old American Jew. Now that is especially important, because Schumer and I are the same age. There is no excuse for his fevered fantasies about Israel. We want peace. This is no way for Jews to behave. Ive said that about the apartheid and slaughter in Israel for years. Schumer didn’t escape the effing Holocaust. He was raised in a comfortable middle class America. He should know better.

A week ago he said even if he “decided” against the deal, he wouldn’t lobby other Dems. The lying POS. That’s why it’s so important for all Dems and progressives to keep public pressure on this. Other congress critters need to know the ramifications of thinking 2003 reasoning will work now.

well, they went from confidence, crossed the line into overconfidence and kept going into arrogance.

you have got a big crisis on your hand, like when the biggies like mcgrath, warne, waughs and others retired.

I can remember when Lillee & Thompson retired – the team eventually recovered – and before that Benaud & his lot – I’m sooo old. But yes, they have some “team building” to do.

It might take a year or two, but, yeah, aussies have always bounced back. I blame the 20/20 cricket for the declining cricketing standards.

England are the first team to have four different bowlers take six wickets in four consecutive innings. James Anderson and Steven Finn did it at Edgbaston, and Stuart Broad and Ben Stokes here.

Thank you aussies for your munificence.

For those who have never heard of “the ashes” – from wiki

The Ashes is a Test cricket series played between England and Australia. The Ashes are regarded as being held by the team that most recently won the Test series.

The term originated in a satirical obituary published in a British newspaper, The Sporting Times, immediately after Australia’s 1882 victory at The Oval, their first Test win on English soil. The obituary stated that English cricket had died, and the body will be cremated and the ashes taken to Australia.[1] The mythical ashes immediately became associated with the 1882–83 series played in Australia, before which the English captain Ivo Bligh had vowed to “regain those ashes”. The English media therefore dubbed the tour the quest to regain the Ashes.

After England had won two of the three Tests on the tour, a small urn was presented to Bligh by a group of Melbourne women including Florence Morphy, whom Bligh married within a year.[2] The contents of the urn are reputed to be the ashes of a wooden bail, and were humorously described as “the ashes of Australian cricket”.[3] It is not clear whether that “tiny silver urn” is the same as the small terracotta urn given to the MCC by Bligh’s widow after his death in 1927.

    from beebs

In case you’re wondering, the Ashes urn will not be presented today. We have to wait until The Oval for that. Not that England will mind. The way their party is already unfolding, they’d probably lose it.

    🙂

Yep. Heard that on the news right after I turned on TV. Heard the interview with the Communications Director for the RNC. Good thing I had nothing in my mouth as he talked about how they’ve tried very hard to “reach out” to various groups–women, Latinos, Asians–the last few years. how R. Preibus has been in contact with all those groups and has been diligently focusing on their outreach, blah, blah, blah. And, how successful they’ve been!!!!!!!!!! hahahahahahahahahahahahahah. These people are totally C.R.A.Z.Y.

They are crazy indeed. But The Donald should not be dumped. Not that early. I want him to represent the GOP because he does say out loud what they think. I don’t want him dumped or gone. I want him Live at all their gatherings.
