Perfect! 🙂 Our President will have lots of material for his WHCD roast next year. And you know he will let all loose – because it will be his last one…

I fell asleep. What did I miss?

Main thing you missed was a couple of a.h. democrats refusing to support the administration – not to mention not supporting the incredible work of Sec Kerry – who they served with in the Senate for many years. et tu Brute seems to fit the situation.

        Who else other than Schumer?

Other one was a Rep – Engel – I get a little mixed up with US politicians. I do not understand how this vote can be a “conscience” vote – was the vote to fight Iraq a conscience vote? Seems you have to support war, but your conscience allows you to reject peace. The media is all about the loss to PBO – nothing about the rat who wants war.

Schumer’s “reasons” might as well have been written by GOP and Bibi. Apparently he’s too dense to understand that this deal was about nukes, and not a deal to resolve the existential ME conflict in total?

We HAVE to do everything we can to NOT let this traitor to Dems be allowed to run the Dems in the Senate. After we tell Schumer what we think of him, we have to get to Harry Reid and Durbin. Durbin needs to know that he can win this fight, & Reid has to pull his support from Schumer.

Jon Stewart’s last show ended with a huge surprise—Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band playing “Land of Hope And Dreams.” Yes, the 2012 song that PBO played at every rally and speech from 2012 and now ends many of President Obama’s appearances.
I am pretty sure that Jon’s ending his show and ending it in this particular way has a lot to do with what our country is looking like now.
In Stewart’s words, a Democratic Party primary that is a “joyless death march.”

OMG. Trump dominating the defunct RNC and the previously all-powerful Fox .

And Barack Obama finishing the most spectacularly successful Presidency ever, all the while faced with relentless opposition and hate.

The era of hope and dreams is drawing to a close.
I am grateful I lived long enough to be fully aware of and able to appreciate the Age of Obama.

Is it true that there was like nobody in the audience at the debate tonight? Oh and Schumer is a sack of you know what. Do the right thing Harry.

what a sad moment that Schumer turned into such a filthy traitor. I hope to see this slimeball get defeated in the primary.

In my part of the world he would resign if he didn’t support the PM (HIS party) in international issues. He would also lose his party nomination.

Why is it “his right” to go against the administration – run by his party – in foreign affairs. He is supporting another country against his own. This is beyond wrong. No different to the letter from the GOP.

Good. Schumer tried to release his opposition to the deal in a sneaky way. As long as President Obama has enough votes to sustain his veto then the deal will stand. But Chuck Schumer being the new minority leader needs to be stopped

Its always lovely to see the President laugh. But on the subject of a possible successor I sense some mounting concern. On more than one occasion recently he’s talked about wanting to hand over the keys to the White House to a competent successor. I know what he means. There are so many balls in the air, so many looming crises, not the least of which is continued drought, mega fires, and inevitable food shortages. We’ll need a strong hand at the tiller to navigate a course through the predicted social upheaval. I noted the catch in his voice when he announced the new anti-pollution law, and spoke about what is needed to save the planet. It was when he mentioned making the world better for his grandchildren. At that point I knew he had done his homework and had a good idea of the dire consequences of continued fossil fuel use. My heart ached for him.
