I saw CNN doing the GOP’s work this morning to push the notion that America doesn’t want the Iran deal.

Of course the people they polled are going to say that Congress should “stop” the deal (which they cannot!)…all they know about is Koch scare ads, and no one in the MSM tries to enlighten the public.

      • July 28, 2015 at 7:54 pm

In other word, the American people want the U.S. to go start a war with Iran.

          No, it doesn’t.
CNN asked a Blank question w/o any explanation. The Media is deliberately using the CNN poll and ignoring the ABC poll which gave people some information before they answered their questions.

HI Everyone! Wanted to give a HEALTHCARE UPDATE:

Had my scans done on Monday. The new treatment is working so I won’t have to go back to chemo for now. Bone and breast area has improved a lot but they did fine a spot on my liver. I’ve had spots on the liver for a while and it did go down for a while. This time it went up.

I haven’t been around because I was in so much pain. Area below my spine made it near impossible to sit or walk. I was in bed a lot and was just miserable. My doctors fixed that yesterday. Sent me home with some drugs and they are doing a great job. MAJOR RELIEF.

Arizona Cardinals defensive back Tyrann Mathieu teamed up with PETA to star in a public service announcement on the potential consequences of leaving a dog inside a hot car. To demonstrate the danger, the Honey Badger sat inside a car in 90-degree weather. “I seriously couldn’t imagine leaving my dog in the car like this,” he said while still inside.

Mathieu tapped out after eight minutes, when the car reached a scorching 120 degrees. By the time he stumbled out, his T-shirt was drenched in sweat—which, as the PSA reminds us, is something a dog cannot do to cool itself off. “If you’re going to make a dog a part of your family, then make him a part of your family,” Mathieu said. “Don’t treat him like you wouldn’t treat someone you cared about or someone you loved.”

Thanks Chips. I just can’t get caught up today. Gobrooklyn glad to hear you are doing better with your treatment and glad to see you are back with us.
Our President sure had one awesome trip. I am really impressed on what the initiatives are that he is sponsoring in our name in the African Nations. Emos can complain all they want, but he has managed to get everyone involved that wants a piece of the action. So this is what a great Community Organizer does. I agree with thie picture above. there is a proportion of this country that has lost their minds in their drive to increase hatred among people of different races and hang onto the idea of supremacy.

case in point : someone in my TL forwarded a video from Talking Points Memo in which a group of racist in Georgia confront a gathering on people attending a black girl’s birthday party.

Yes, the racist are all flying their confederate rags (multiple flags on each pick up truck).

    report says that they were all armed and threatened to “kill y’all N… words”;

I don’t know if it has been brought to TOD’s attention – check Talking Points Memo if you want to see how the police had to intervene before the racist could leave the birthday party-goers alone.

we really have a lot of work to do as we try to build a more fair and just country in which race is not at the core of all that we do and how we treat others.

These people are dying out, period.
      Their racism is stagnating them.
They are louder today due to social media. They are nit gaining more converts.
The structural racism remains strong. By all of Us speaking out and calling the cruelty out, We Shall and must make it better.

      • July 28, 2015 at 9:08 pm

These are the racists ass people who support Donald Trump. The media tries to tell us that there are people out there who are angry with Washington and Trump is speaking for those people. They are angry right, but that anger comes from the fact that they hate the black President. Trump is speaking for a bunch of racists. Trump is a racists too.

Riley Curry showed off her Whip and Nae Nae moves in honor of her 3rd birthday on July 19, but it looks like she’s got some cute competition. Leah Still, the 5-year-old daughter of NFL lineman Devon Still, challenged Riley to a dance-off via her dad’s Instagram Sunday night. ā€œRiley, I saw your video, you think you can Whip better than me?ā€ Leah says before busting out her own adorable moves to SilentĆ³ā€˜s ā€œWatch Me (Whip/Nae Nae).ā€

Leah is currently battling stage 4 neuroblastoma, a childhood cancer that mostly affects children under 5, and recently received the Jimmy V Perseverance Award at the ESPY Awards. ā€œIn the five years I’ve been with you, you’ve taught me more about life than I could ever do and I love you,ā€ the Cincinnati Bengals star said while accepting the award on behalf of his daughter.

So much for any supposed concession that Bibi “got” from PBO.
Mr. Pollard will be confined to the USA for his 5 years of parole. No hero’s return too Israel any time soon.

Both Haaretz and NY Times still announcing that Jonathan Pollard is being released. Not mentioning that released into 5 years of parole in NYC.
Apparently another bitter loss for RW.

Thought it only appropriate to share with our Iranian brothers ….

    • July 28, 2015 at 9:52 pm

Was delighted to see that Haaretz published an article about the video and posted the video to their website ….

“Actors Jack Black, Morgan Freeman, Natasha Lyonne and other celebrities, including Queen Noor of Jordan, are voicing their support of the nuclear deal with Iran in a new video released on Tuesday.

The celebrities in the video urge Americans to contact their members of Congress and encourage them to back the deal, which would be up for a vote in September.

Without a nuclear deal, “ultimately we could be forced into a war with Iran another dangerous drawn out and expensive conflict in the Middle East with many lives lost,” Freeman says in the three-minute video, produced by the Global Zero, a group advocating for the elimination of nuclear weapons.”

Watched that – thanks Bobfr – tried to watch some of Sec Kerry talking to congress (well congress ranting & Sec Kerry present). Could not watch. The world treats PBO and his admin as they deserve. This congress is beyond a joke.
