I read the earlier post about a VP Biden announcement not coming until the end of the summer—which, by the way, is precisely what the VP has said all along. Summer ends on Sept. 21.
Just my 2 cents here, worth possibly zero cents, is that until the Iran Nuclear issue is off the table it is probably wise not to ruffle the feathers of the AIPAC-Clinton senators. For example, Schumer,Menendez,Feinstein, McCaskill. Ex-senators Lieberman, Bayh and others are already forming up for a media onslaught against our President and his VP.

Unlikely House and Senate will vote on the Iran Deal until after Summer recess, i.e., after Labor Day, 7 Sept. They’re going to prolong it as long as they can because they know their just going to get their asses handed to them, once again, by President Obama.

I suspect VP Biden will announce sometime after that vote and well before Labor Day.
Interesting…. if you are correct, that would be typically brilliant and insightful Obama/Biden strategy. Another reason I would love our VP to be our next POTUS. He’s learned, contributed to and been in on PBO’s political brilliance for the last two terms: always putting personal needs behind the big picture; being willing to let others have the limelight and mic while you are stealthily accomplishing everything. Both men know how to get things done (or not done, if necessary) in the Senate, and how to time everything.
This is the first time I’ve noticed the VP seal on a podium – I never even knew there was one. Have I simply been unobservant all these years, or is this a recent addition when VP Joe is speaking?

Those SS guys/ladies are as impressive as the entourage they’re covering. Damn… When PBO and the local vendor shake hands, look at the SS guys’ laser focus on that interaction from two vantage points – the one in front of Sasha and the one at the back with shades next to Malia!
