Interesting article on how Tesla predicted that technology would enable women to soar and unleash their full potential. Smart man and very timely in the wake of Serena Williams win, the US Women’s soccer team World Cup championship and the White House initiative to empower girls throughout the world.

Good morning TOD! Sooooo hopeful that today brings the nuclear negotiations to a close! Loved the photo of the 3 WOMEN, Helga Schmid, Wendy Sherman, Federica Mogherini, at the heart of the diplomatic boiler room for these talks.

One of the funny clips I saw of Trump yesterday included a statement by him that obviously the dips in Vienna hadn’t yet heard that women are the best and smartest negotiators, according to Trump. If he is going to run for president, he needs to pay a little more attention to the details of things going on in the world that affect the US.

In any event, keeping my fingers crossed for an announcement today.

Find it interesting that no one heckled Trump at his rally in Phoenix while certain people are always heckling President Obama about his immigration actions.

back briefly as i just read through previous threads.

Foxfire, you’re right that the Nuclear deal will be fought. They threw in the towel almost 2 weeks ago on only one Phase of their efforts. Not forever. The negative TV ads and newspaper ads stopped abruptly in NYC and Israel . Bibi slipped mostly out of sight. Plus,
PBO made clear last week that their biggest efforts will be futile.
That is not to say that the same folks still fighting Social Security, Medicare and Obamacare will not turn their fire on Iran Deal. I expect them to fill the airwaves while they fail.

PBO was clear——-If the Opposition has 30 days to fight or 60 days there was no difference as far as The President is concerned. There is an unsubstantiated belief that PBO and Corker agreed to exceed the 30 day deadline to give Corker something he could take to his party.

By tommorrow the World will see our Once-In-A-Lifetime Extraordinary President Once Again, show the haters why the Nobel Peace Prize he got so early in his first term, was Exactly what He Deserved.
And We, Living Now, in The Age of Obama, are the Luckiest People on Earth.

ps. to meta—an award for never doubting

PBO will show “why the Nobel Peace Prize he got so early in his first term, was Exactly what He Deserved.”

So agree Vicki! I must say, however, if they pull this off and it holds, it would be wonderful to see Sec Kerry and FM Zarif jointly be awarded the Peace Prize for the coming year. It would be so fitting for these two nations to share it. AND I am so thankful this morning that it is John Kerry who is at that table for us. I don’t know if any other SoS in recent memory would have had his determination, his temperament and his fortitude. He and PBO have made the perfect team for completion of this historic agreement.

    GM, TOD

From the last thread: John Lewis an invited guest at ComicCon!! In costume (wearing a trench coat and a backpack as he did in the March on Selma), treated like the true hero that he is, little kids looking at him in awe, asking questions and taking pictures!! OMG !! Dudette probably needs some oxygen. I am so glad that Rep. Lewis is lived long enough for more people to be aware of his story (check out the PBS special episode of Finding your Roots that focused on him) and to honor him for all of his work in the past and the present.

I usually stay out of the seesaw that is the Iran talks because I am the type of person who only wants to know the final outcome, but I am a bit more optimistic than I have been in the past.

Still rejoicing over Serena’s win (21 championships #Serena Slam).

That hateful rag is coming down all over the country.

PBO lays golf; ISIL thug taken out.

It has been a great weekend so far and we have one more day of it to go; what will happen next?

    Have a beautiful Sunday everyone.
