The MSM severely underestimates Joe Biden and his appeal to regular people. If Jill signs off on another run for President, he will be formidable. I suspect she is the key to his decision.

Judith, I’m sure Jill is the key to his decision. She isn’t crazy about the limelight and she’s very aware of the stresses of a presidential campaign. But I think one of the reasons we’re seeing such a buoyant president these days is because he believes that Biden will run and that will mean that all of his hard work and his vision for America’s future will be in good hands. I certainly pray that VP Biden takes the big step. Millions of us would breathe a sigh of relief.

If uncle joe does run, PBO will be 100% behind him. Then, will we the nastiness of clinton camp resurface?

I am sure it will. I just hope this doesn’t turn out like when Ted Kennedy challenged his own party.

    • July 2, 2015 at 10:19 pm

I don’t think it’s likely PBO will take sides in the primary. Hope I’m wrong but that’s not usually how it’s done.

Do you think, all the things VP Biden is doing right now, by the President’s side on all Press Conferences or announcements that he is getting the feel of what it really takes to do this job. He has been such an intregal part of the POTUS inner circle and he is with him all the time now. I just hink there is something with all of the joint appearances. What say you TOD Family?

President Obama could not be more obvious in the message he is telegraphing to everyone.

VP Biden is the man for 45th POTUS!!!

I think so. VP Biden is the person for the job.

He has the skillset, the understanding of the role and he will follow through. I LOVE Joe Biden. He is such a good man.

Thanks NW for highlighting this testimony!

    I have always believed that you only know WHO the real person is by the things he/she does to a stranger when in private and/or has nothing to gain personally from their actions;

    kindness to a stranger is my “litmus test” for all I meet – that is why I use it my bio for twitter;

I have been thinking of writing to VP Joe and Dr. Jill Biden a personal plea for them to join the presidential race.

I know it is asking too much from them but then I remember that it never hurts to ask

    Goal for this w

great bj rant against the dinesh desouza dickwad – yet another fucking embarrassing indian.

    Really, dickwad?

Tell me, have we cut off aid to Israel? Have we stopped selling them weapons? Have we stopped covering for them at the UN? Have we withdrawn our ambassador and shut down our embassy? When did the economic sanctions go into effect, eh? When did we start threatening to bomb them? When exactly did we do anything substantial to hinder Israel in ANY way? Huh? Please enlighten me, you cretinous bloviating buffoon.

Likewise, I’m sure you can tell me when we stopped sanctions against Iran? When we normalized relations with them? Oh, what’s that we negotiated a potential deal to get them to reduce their civilian nuclear program and open it up to inspections? Oh, well, sure, that’s exactly like aligning yourself with them, if you’re a delusional sack of crap.

And I guess since we aligned with Cuba, we got single payer health care? Or did Obama arrest you for your beliefs yet? Did he order your Twitter shut down? Did he outlaw the Republican party? I must have missed that on the news.

    What a fucking dunce.

Hello amk – just an update on my 1st world problem.
Repairman came today. He discovered there is a switch controlling the water levels. Came with new switch and new mother board.
      Replaced switch – no change
replaced mother board – no change
checked your water valve – no change
used the google – ahhhhhhhhh – someone suggested the error may be a heating problem, and many other people explained what one should do with this particular brand/model of dishwasher
ordered a replacement switch for the heater unit – be back in a week or two

As you all know, I’m a stutterer. This young man’s story touched me on a deeply personal level. I’m glad Uncle Joe was able to give him a push, and that Skip did all the hard work to make his dreams come true.

    • July 2, 2015 at 10:08 pm

And the fact that Joe is a stutterer. As if I couldn’t love him more.

I did not know tha and I wouldn’t have from meeting you. I had a student who stuttered and encouraged him to present in front of the class, first as part of a group, later by himself. By the end of the year, he was doing so well you could hardly tell. I was so proud of him for trying. I love Joe and hope he runs.

I was wondering who is Trump going to sue if he loses?

    His campaign manager.

LOL. I am sure the mofo pos will do exactly that.

LOL. snark is heavy at bj today.

Quit whining. Obama had a filibuster-proof majority in the Senate, and 75 percent of the House, for like the first 12 years of his first term, and what did he accomplish? Nothing! And then, because he was bent on Mau-Mau-ing America, he confiscated ALL the guns, and rescinded the Bill of Rights, and had his hit squads take out all the Republicans.

Thanks FSM it’s looking like he won’t win a third term. Of course, if it looks really bad, he’ll just cancel the election.

If only Lindsey admitted who he was and stopped trying to be a macho man…

    • July 2, 2015 at 10:28 pm

Wow, that was very moving. It stands to reason that Joe’s biggest concern right now is his family, his grandchildren. My heart goes out to him.

    • July 2, 2015 at 10:33 pm

Look I am not falling for none of their B.S. I watched over the last six years Republicans who I thought were decent politicians turn into right wing haters, spewing the crap that those right wing racists tea party base want to hear. Instead of standing up for decency they succumb to the right wing bigots of their party. And Graham was one of the main one, now he want to choke up over how nice a person VP Biden is.

I am sorry, but I can’t stand Lindsey Graham. I used to try to respect members of Congress, but he is one that just makes my skin crawl. I did not know that Sen. Graham was in the National Guard. Hmm, I’m trying to picture it. Still can’t. Did he ever go to battle? Hmmm, still can’t see it.

question: if Bernie beats hillary and Joe does not get into the race do any of you think he would preserve anything PBO has put into place?

    • 124 vcprezofan2
      July 3, 2015 at 12:13 am

Yes. Sanders does not have (has not displayed) the kind of drive to replace anything (I can think of that) PBO has done to date. Talk/yelling is easier than action for many of these politicians, and if one is to be factual – really, what has Sanders *done* for #wethepeople on a national scale?

Heck of a day around here, have peeked in a few times, but hopelessly behind. Maybe tomorrow will be better! My iphone4 died a sudden death, had to run out to the phone store, where the young Jedi Master “Mason” got it up and running again. He then pointed out some quite nice little phones which will be going on sale in a week, for a price I like!! Maybe a new phone for MP!! HooWee!! Goodnight TOD. You know me: #ridin’withbiden No more to be said. If/when he announces, I deem the election becomes a moot point. He IS the only one who could possible take the wheel of this enormous ship PBO has been steering. ‘Nuff said! ❤ y'all! ❤

I thought of another argument for Biden over Sanders. I heard an Obama supporter say Biden was too old for the presidency. Well, I just looked up both of their birth years. BS (just realized those initials) was born in 1941 and JB was born in 1942. So if someone tells you Biden is too old, but is leaning towards Bernie tell them Bernie is older by a year.

age doesn’t matter if you are healthy (and Biden is), your ideas and policy stance matters. On those Joe wins hands down. There is NO competition. Besides, he is a good man.
