Hi everyone! Here’s hoping that my friend gets the call he’s been waiting for. He applied to be a White House intern, and they’re notifying people this week if they’ve been selected.

I am increasingly optimistic that SCOTUS will uphold Obamacare. I think the GOP agrees with me. I could be wrong on this but they seem more unhinged than usual these days. Canceling Friday in the House in order to attend Rev. Pinckney’s funeral??? This from the gang that had only Kevin McCarthy at the Selma Celebration? They act like they think 2016 is slip-sliding away.

    What does TOD feel?

They are not going to the funeral, trust me. Maybe one or two will show up.

Hope you’re right. Republicans always appear to be unhinged to me so the fact that they’re more unhinged than usual doesn’t mean much to me. But hopefully, even the Rightwing Supreme Court Justices understand the pain they will cause to ordinary citizens should they decide against the ACA. They would be handing the White House to the Democratic candidate who will run on restoring the ACA to override SCOTUS’ decision.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your kind words and prayers. We have to believe that Jason is at peace now. Our friends have family flying in from California today so we’re on call to help wherever we can. Love you all.

My Fav SCOTUS Justice. It used to be the former Justice John Paul Stevens, 95yrs young in April and now, I just love her, Justice Kagan. I am fond of Notorious RBG and Justice Sotomayor.

So love that the president is going to win again regarding this trade kerfuffle. I just couldn’t resist rubbing it in some emotarian faces on the internets today. responses to my enthusiasm quickly boiled down to “had i read the bill then if i love it so much??”

To which i replied: ” I don’t have to read it, I’m gonna trust Barack, he’s earned it!” (Copyright bobfr!) haha

Senate approves expanded trade powers for Obama

President Obama scored a victory as the Senate passed legislation granting the president so-called fast-track trade authority, which would make it easier for the administration to negotiate trade deals by preventing them from being amended by Congress.

Last 2 yrs, Fox was reportedly paying Palin $250K.

no need to have doubts about me. I’m a real person asking questions I’ve heard both sides and read the Wiki link and still have questions being that NAFTA did not work so well for us and my concern is with Republicans supporting accord but not Democrats, so that has me concerned. So no, no doubts about me, I’ve been fighting the good fight longer than many of you have been alive.

I’m always up, not always on the computer as I hustle to get to work. Two sick doggies to make sure they were taken care of today by Mr. 57, and my little yorkie had her anxiety attack last night over thunderstorms. I’ve been up since 2:45 a.m. Good times!

That’s about when I am going to bed! Currently 1.15am & I’m waiting to hear PBO speak about the ACA. Take care of yourself – your family needs you.

I’m with the animals on the thunderstorms. Years ago the cat and I were together under the kitchen table as a massive storm took away much of our roof!

A roof blown off the house! Oh my God, 99ts!

Because of my asthma, I often fall asleep on the sofa where I have pillows propped up just the way I like them to help me breathe. At 2:45, it felt like the house was shaking, and it was poor little Pearl, trembling. Understand, she weighs all of 8 pounds! I gave her some Rescue Remedy and put her “thundershirt” on her. That helps about 40%, but she demands constant attention when she’s going through it.

THIS IS SO IMPORTANT. I’m hoping that someone here can Tweet this…put it on your FB pages…. Sign the petition, too. Corporations and big business are KILLING our Earth and historical and sacred places…

Superior’s Oak Flat is notable for its sacred significance to the San Carlos Apache and other sNative American tribes. It is home to some of the state’s most unique religious, cultural and archeological habitats.

The Grand Canyon serves as not only an expansive natural grandeur, but also a sacred site for certain Native American tribes and an internationally renowned national park.

The Trust’s list says the Canyon is threatened by mining and resort proposals that could disrupt the region’s main source of water.

Here is the link for concerned citizens everywhere to sign the petition: https://secure2.convio.net/nthp/site/Advocacy?cmd=display&page=UserAction&id=972 ( This is the National Trust for Historic Preservation site)
