What the Dominican Republic government is doing to DR citizens who have Haitian ancestry is barbaric. They are being rendered stateless.

The amazing thing is that Dominicans, for the most part, aren’t exactly light skinned.
Can the U.S. stop its/any financial aid to DR if this is actually done? They could use aid money to help those being made stateless. There never seems to be a calm moment worldwide – a time when most areas are settled and relatively calm and the world can address another area needing support and add it to a *growing* list of calmer spots.

China won the Iraq War the day the longterm oil contracts were given out in Baghdad. Royal Dutch Shell, if I remember correctly, was the only Western nation to get one of the 5 Most Valuable grants awarded on that day. Years later a few very small contracts were given to The West.
Thus it is fair to say that the USA funded a 2 Trillion dollar war that cost us 6,000+ American lives and countless wounded American Warriors.
We are China’s Miliitary force. We do the fighting and they reap the rewards.
The only American Winners were the military supply companies, the private contractors, and the oil support companies (Halliburton) that plundered Iraq mercilessly during our invasion. That’s who’s mad we still aren’t there.
Corporate interests must be quaking in their boots if they understood what The Donald is saying. He Can undermine the GOP singlehanded, which has to be good for Our Blue Team.

Jeff Immelt was on Charlie Rose last night talking about the global business environment and the challenges for growth. He really stressed the importance of Congress passing TPA and TPP and Ex-Im Bank. Said it’s absolutely crazy that the United States has given up on competing on a global basis. He emphasized that China it everywhere, making deals, while the U.S. argues whether it should be a part of the global economy.
