    Fabulous toons, LP!

    1. Please God don’t allow Jeb to be their nominee … I can’t take his face – in caricature or not!

    2. Cartoonist even captured Santorum’s old sweater vest. Gotta laugh.

    3. If Pataki’s lost in the field, let’s leave well enough alone! #NoSearchParties #PromiseMe

    Thank you very much.

I think it was YardArm who brought us one of these videos recently (I’d never seen or heard of the model or this series before). [Ever notice that as soon as you are introduced to something ‘new’, you suddenly stumble onto more in the same vein?]

Lovelyplains, thank you for the sensational group of toons. I confess to not understanding all of them.

In 2008 Martin O’Malley endorsed Hillary. Without complaining about dynasty type issues.
Why is he taking shots at her now? I wonder who is encouraging this path he’s taken. Shots at Hillary. Shots at PBO and 1/2 truths (being polite here) about our economy. What is the plan?

That said, I agree with VC’s theme of welcoming Democratic candidates as it is early in the process.

Lincoln Chafee is said to be announcing his bid on Wednesday. The mind reels.
Except I guess there are lots of reasons besides winning this contest that compel contestants to launch their bids.

More candidates. Maybe better conversations about issues that matter. It is possible if not likely.

    • May 30, 2015 at 7:34 pm

the only candidate that will have a chance to win will be the candidate that embraces our President and has a plan on how they plan to move us forward.. courting that white working class vote…worked so well in the midterms…but it is a long way to 2016

        May 30, 2015 at 7:58 pm

prettyfoot, I agree completely with this.
Riden with Biden has a small office in Chicago. Until someone can convince me otherwise, I will believe that VPOTUS will run and win.
Perhaps an announcement will come after the Iran Deal deadline of June 30, and the TPP is on the track PBO wants. Taking Trade out of the ugly debate about it happening now.

    • May 30, 2015 at 8:06 pm

      I think he meant this:

  12. 55 carolyn
    May 30, 2015 at 8:06 pm

I have a question. Who is the lady in blue Martin O’Malley came out with? ABC news had a clip of the announcement, but the anchor did not mention her.

I also think it is a good thing to have more than one candidate running in Democratic parties. I don’t think all the candidates, of either party will make it to Iowa, but the discussion for the next months will be good. The more people, the more attention. If VPOTUS runs, and Chaffey runs, that would be five candidates, and I think that is healthy. The debates could be productive.

What is difficult this year is that people are vying to replace a successful president…….no matter what rethugs say. people know he is very successful. In 2008 EVERYONE was ready to get rid of GWB……even many Republicans, so there was an entirely different dynamic for that race. The press is trying to run the same old template, which is totally wrong. Why do they never think………????

    That’s ONE bedroom:

      May 30, 2015 at 9:16 pm

And, of course, there are one-bedroom apartments that are nice and there are one-bedroom apartments that aren’t. So even if a person only needed living quarters for one, the choices are not endless.

Yes, with cynicism and hurt in my heart…..especially after learning the passing of young Beau Biden…….
HRC addressed Gov O’Malley as such and he turned around and called her Hillary…….would the Sen Brown and Co be yelling about this? Or is their outrage only reserved for PBO?

I’m in tears, the strong family love of the Bidens and Obama’s and all of us as the wider family feel this. I saw this on twitter and immediately thought of how proud and happy they all were coming out on stage on 2008 election night. I never knew he was ill. PBOs quote from Yeats are absolutely beautiful. I’m giving you all a virtual hug.
